sorry, no english story yet; but the spiegel is a serious news site, so it's trustworthy. the site claims to base itself on a source who has read bush's ghostwritten memoirs. in it, he claims that when the CIA asked whether sheik mohammed should be waterboarded, he responded with "damn right". according to government sources, sheik mohammed alone was waterboarded 183 times.

but the US doesn't torture, right?

The wacky Islamic terrorists behead anyone they capture, video tape it, and mail it to media outlets and they are called misunderstood and should be left alone.

That has nothing to do with some 22-year-old Nebraskan yokel who thinks he can waterboard because he heard it on the news somewhere. Get something with substance. Many people follow TV and think they can do it in real life or get ideas. If we lived by that little example of yours lock the Jackass gang up in Guantanamo for inspiring a bunch of idiot teens to injure themselves.
