Didn't "polls" leading up to the recent US election show John Kerry as the eventual winner?

Nobody from Ipsos-Reid polled me, my friends, my family, or my co-workers.

Stand beside a Pepsi vending machine and I'm sure at least 80% of the people you poll prefer Pepsi over Coke.

In other words you think the poll is bogus. Can't say I am shocked.

Should I read into your comments that you actually think that Bush's 'approval rating' in Canada is over 50%?

A radio report?!?!? You mean a liberal media outlet is saying this!! Well golly geez, it must be true.

Let me say this again for you dimwits. A good friend of mine lives in Ottawa. He was there. He saw first hand with his own eyes how many people were at these "rallies". The pro Bush supporters equaled the anti-Bush supporters.

So eat another dick you stupid fucks.

Why so angry and hateful?

People like you are the reason the world is a fucked up place. Can't think clearly outside of your emotions. You probably want to shoot people who call you names. Juvenille.

Step outside of the rhetoric brainwashing - You Might evolve. :thefinger

Canada doesn't like Bush so fuck off!!!

Attention pro-Bush Americans,

What do you expect?

The ILLEGAL tarrifs on our softwood lumber exports, and the dragged out banning of our beef are just a few reasons we protest Mr. Bush. Instead of publically addressing these issues, he brought up fuckin missile defence. Now there's some serious bullshit!

The softwood lumber tariffs started long before George W. got into office. The closing of the border to beef exports have been opposed by Republicans and Democrats alike... Tom Daschle was a staunch opponent of ending the ban, and I think you could argue he's played an important role in keeping the border closed. We see what happens now that he lost his Senate seat in the last election.

I'm sure you have other reasons for disliking Bush... I'm not a fan of his either. I just think it's ironic that the two examples you offered happen to be issues that go well beyond Bush and his policies.

I do not agree with Dirty Sanchez on this either, but....

First you type: 'Why so angry and hurtful?'
And then you turn around and end with 'Canada doesn't like Bush so fuck off!!!'?
And you give him the finger? Either you are joking or you need to look up the word hypocrisy.

I am a Canadian and I don't like the Bush Administration because:

- nearly 500 billion dollar deficit (any near-moron can spend 1/2 a trillion more then he/she makes). Even though he took over with zero deficit. And the 'war' is only costing (apparently) about 80 billion dollars per year.

- the war in Iraq. Going in in the first place and how they have handled it since. Even the interim Iraqi president said that disbanding the Iraqi military (by the Bush administration) was a huge mistake. And that the figthing in Iraq would be far less had they not done so.

- Guantanamo Bay.

Yup. Those arguements work for me.

Maybe in the rest of Canada, but certainly not in Quebec... i can't find anybody at my school who like Bush policies...

The people of Quebec don't like themselves, or the rest of Canada. Saying they don't like Bush isn't exactly a slam dunk on how the entire Country feels.

Well, he works for the Government, is about to go to Law School (I'll get him to drop you a line explaining the difference between innocent and not guilty), and has been a staunch supporter of the Liberal Party at the Federal and Provincial levels for his entire life. On top of that, he has told me over and over again he doesn't like Bush. Don't want to believe him, fine. Your ignorance is overwhelming.

Right back at you.

People like you are the reason the world is a fucked up place.

The World is fucked up for a lot of reason. I am a guy who understands the past can't be changed, and knows we can help shape the future. Keep crying about what happened yesterday, a month ago, a year ago or 4 years ago. See where that gets you. People like me are the reason the World isn't an absolute mess everywhere. People like me realize a pro active response is far more effective then a re-active response, or in Clinton's case, no response at all. Remember, the freedoms you enjoy today, are because of people like me. We are the ones willing to sacrifice to make the World better. You are the ones crying and complaining just to hear yourself speak.

Can't think clearly outside of your emotions.

Emotions are a huge part of who we are. Emotions are what spark opinion and ideas, as well as progress. Emotions are what separates every one as individuals. Your kind can't think for themselves, and follow along like a heard of sheep.

You probably want to shoot people who call you names. Juvenille.

Well, I'd like people to spell juvenile properly. And actually wish people were educated on issues before rambling on.

Step outside of the rhetoric brainwashing - You Might evolve. :thefinger

Let me guess, you voted (or will vote for when you become of age) for the Liberals right? Maybe you should take your own advice about the brainwashing before you suggest anything to others.

Canada doesn't like Bush so fuck off!!!

And you speak for all of us? You Might not like him, but that certainly doesn't mean the whole Country feels the same way. But you know, I'm sure you thought the majority of Americans didn't like Bush either. Too bad the recent election proved otherwise.

Ever stop to think that maybe the deficit is so high because of; A) the dot com bubble bursting. B) the events of September 11 and how that changed the entire World along with it's economy. C) 8 years of a the previous Government ignoring major issues and now finding the need to solve them?

- the war in Iraq. Going in the first place and how they have handled it since. Even the interim Iraqi president said that disbanding the Iraqi military (by the Bush administration) was a huge mistake. And that the fighting in Iraq would be far less had they not done so.

Like Brino, I'm sure you would have preferred to wait until Iraq was directly responsible for Americans dying on US soil before realizing something had to be done eh? Remember, Clinton didn't consider OBL a threat, and so he did nothing about him. Bush wasn't going to make the same mistake.

And tell me, when has a War ever gone to plan perfectly? Monday morning quarterbacks always seem to have the answers after the play has been run.

- Guantanamo Bay.

Yeah, because you know, the people being held at Gitmo were such upstanding citizens (I'm assuming you are referring to the detainees. If not, feel free to inform me). The fact that those prisoners have not been given the same treatment they doled out while running wild in Iraq tells me they are being treated better then they deserve. There people aren't jay walkers or occasional pot smokers. They are despicable human beings who should have been pushed out the back of the air plane at 10,000 ft while crossing the ocean. You tree huggers are the reason people like Saddam were allowed to prosper.

Well, A) the dot com bubble burst up here in Canada also and the federal government (and many provincial governments) kept their spending in check or reduced their deficits.
B) if 9/11 changed the worlld's economies, how come Canada and (I believe Europe) managed to whether it without hugely increasing their budget deficits like the U.S. did?
and C) other then Afghanistan and Iraq (which only cost about 80 billion a year - the deficit is near 500 billion dollars at present, I believe); what did the Clinton administration do (or not do) that forced the Bush administration to spend over 400 billion dollars per year extra.

Oh, I did not realize that you had factual proof that Iraq was planning to attack the United States. Care to share it with us?

And tell me, when has a War ever gone to plan perfectly? Monday morning quarterbacks always seem to have the answers after the play has been run.

Well, the only wars this century that were bigger (for the U.S.) then Iraq part 2 were;

Iraq Part 1. WW1, WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. Other then Vietnam (which was obviously a massive screwup job), which of the others was handled worse then this latest 'war'.

So everyone in 'Gitmo' (as you call it) are 'despicable human beings...'. And with what proof do you have that they are all so despicable? Do you have any proof at all? Assuming you have none; then I assume that you are saying they are all guilty simply because the Bush administration says they are? Because what other proof is there?
