Now I can see if some guy is asking about who is going to win the '03 Super Bowl...it's probably going to be a little lame to bump that with an, "I really think the Bears are going to win it."
But some threads that are subject specific...I think that's what the purpose of the search function is...

yea, back in the good ol days. Though the mods back then went on power trips from time to time. Remember when BNF deleted the original "Random Statement Thread"? That was a sad time. Like burning down a museum.
I assume we're talking about the recent trend by certain individuals (not naming any names (mainly because I've forgotten who they were)) to bump several dozen threads in the 'Funny Pictures' section? If so, I don't really care, so long as the threads bumped aren't ones in which I misspell 'bitch'.
If not, then I seem to be missing these phantom threads.

I know! I was posting in it at the time! When I hit "submit reply" it gave me a weird error message! And that dick posted the new one. Which I've only posted in a few times. Kinda my own personal little boycott, not that it matters. It was fun when it was the original, now, just a lame knock off!
I bump threads that I find interesting. I usually limit myself to about one per day, but I usually find something back in the archives that gives me the urge to post. There's no point in making a duplicate thread for something already there.
