That doesn't even seem real, just wow. You know, I was always hoping he would... never mind, too soon.

Very sad news.

Personally, I liked His Royal Badness better than the King of Pop.

Anyway, the world has lost a great child.

He died far too young.

Rest in peace.

So long, kid. We hardly knew ye.

Damn. I was betting on Cher or that talentless whore from Detroit who thinks she's British.

Second best halftime superbowl show ever!

In case you're wondering, U2 superbowl halftime show will always be the best one. It was after 9/11

PRince, The Artist, passed away at age 57. big loss for music world.

Went to bed last night with the Purple Rain tune in my head after I had watched some YouTube videos, woke up with it too, could not get rid of it.
I've been to 5 of his concerts, sure made some great music.

He was, in my opinion, the greatest all around talent in the history of popular music. A true Minnesota legend..

I completely agree. I've seen him live a couple years ago and he was phenomenal as expected. My man has been to see him 3 times and is even more down than I am today, and I am very bummed. Between the two of us we have every song he's ever put out, and ( I shouldn't admit) a LOT of his unreleased stuff.

Very sad news. Personally, I liked His Royal Badness better than the King of Pop.
MJ had a gift, but nothing like Prince had. Mj would put out 1 album in 5 years with a horde of musicians and producers and song writers, Prince would put out 6 or 7 albums often with only him in the studio for entire albums. The two of them are not even close in talent, MJ just had better appeal for one album. Here's a little tid bit for you... did you know that Thriller, and Born in the USA were both topping the charts when Purple Rain came out.... and Purple Rain was outselling them 2 to 1 combined until Tipper Gore listened to Darling Nikki. Just read that but had heard it before.

RIP Prince! One of kind. A musical genius. I was stunned when I heard the news on the radio. :(
Absolutely

He was so amazing live, sad how many people don't know that. The Lovesexy tour is on video, it is just unbelievable. Go look up some famous peoples reviews of that concert, pretty unanimous opinions out there.

People always thought Prince was just this weird, eccentric, androgynous musician that gave odd one word responses in interviews. He had a wide range of opinions, some of them out there, but most people didn't realize that he was very funny.

He made me laugh out loud when talking about people getting his lyrics wrong.

We lost a good one. And there will never be another one like him. Rumor is they found over 2000 unreleased tracks at Paisley.
