does KFC count?

I was not aware that Colonel Sanders was originally from Brum... the things one learns here!

If you're going to eat out, the least you could do is go for fish and chips; you wouldn't be trading in your "tradionalist views" for a piece of Kentucky chicken, lol.

I eat very non-tradionally myself, very simple yet healthy.... so my breakfast consists of fruit, juice, etc, and I rarely eat anything fried. My reasons are because I choose to be healthy; I've not sold my soul to the Colonel as Silicone has, (haven't had KFC in years).

BTW, mate, just having some fun with you... but you must see there's a contradiction in your statements.
:) :hatsoff:

Same here Parker. It's been 7 years since I ate at KFC. For breakfast food I eat healthy. Two pieces of toast (no butter), juice, a cup of oatmeal, three egg whites, a strip of lean turkey bacon and if thers's still room a protein shake.

aw I like 'em all...expect waffles, that is.

hmmmm...bacon...scrambled eggs...saugage..french toast...pancakes...toast...hmmmmmmm

That's a perfect workout meal... I used to eat that way myself all the time, but am not as strict about it as I used to be. Still eat the egg whites tho... fantastic source of protein, right behind tunafish, IMO.

So what if I like waffles over pancakes but I really don't like either of the all that much. Does that give me any points?

RamRod
I hate eggs if that is any consolation.

Grits...it's the ONLY breakfast
Oh Hell yea!
Grits with fried eggs is the only way to go, fried w/runny yolks.
Put the grits on top of the eggs then break the yolk with your fork. The yolk absorbs and mixes with the grits.
 Good stuff.
Whever I run by McD's for breakfast I get the Deluxe Breakfast, that's scrambled eggs, sausage patty, hash browns a biscuit (ie a roll not a cookie) and pancakes.
I never eat the pancakes with the syrup, too messy, I'll cut open the bisuit put in the sausage with a little bit of the eggs and a little bit of the hash browns. Also good stuff.
Breakfast burritos are good too.

My fave meal of the day.

Interesting theory, lol. Actually, it's more likely you're an ectomorph - a person with a very high metabolic rate (nutrition / working out is one of my fav hobbies).

I'm the opposite, an endomorph, meaning that if I look at fatty food or sweets I gain a stone. ;) Through proper eating an exercise I'm kept my bodyfat in the 10-12% range... had it as low as 5%, but that was just too much work to maintain.

There is a benefit to being an endomorph BTW, and that's that I can gain muscle as easily as I gain fat, meaning I get very good results with weight training even though I do very little of it ( I mostly run for exercise).

ar...big let down for me.....took me 12 months just to get a 'little' tone on my ever growing slight beer belly

I know how you feel SiliTits. Not with the whole beer belly thing but man I can never gain any sort of weight to build my muscles. I am just a skinny-bone-jones. Back in high school we had to work out for baseball and I was the only one that maintained the same build the whole time, I only gained a few pounds and it didn't show.

RamRod
It sucked but at least we can laugh at the fatties ;) .

I wait til the weekend to eat breakfast cause my brother comes to mum's house and cooks for everyone. Usually eggs, bacon, and pancakes. If I'm lucky her husband will make omlets which are really good.
