Bourne Supremacy & Catwoman

I wouldn't consider that 4th book a "real one." For example, there have been hacks and publisher whore-writers who have written James Bond books subsequent to Fleming's death, but Ian Fleming was the real Bond author and his were the REAL Bond books. Thankfully, the movies not having to do with Fleming's original books have maintained a high quality level. I was afraid the films would suffer after Broccolli (I think that's how he spelled his name) died a few years back, but they have been great and worthy of the Bond legacy. Pierce Brosnan has agreed to one more movie (I've heard). I hope he stays on for a good while!

howdy i just fininishing Ultimatium

i read Identity and supremacy last month....

and what can i say

Identity should of been called something totally different....because theres absolutely no comparrison to the book other then the fact his name is Jason Bourne and he has amnesia

i can see why the might of had to change it tho...see in the books 'Carlos the Jackal' is the badguy (Day of the Jackal', 'The Jackal' and about a thousend Conspiracy Theroy's) and he's not even included in the film...

If your planning on reading the books and dont want them spoiled dont read on

Basically in the books Jason Bourne is created as a Fictious Assisain to Lure out and Challenge The Jackal...all goes wrong when he looses his mind.....runs off with 5 million of the CIA's money and then they think he has turned so they hunt him, at the same time tho...the jackal is also huntin him and Marie (vital vital charactor in the books and i hear shes gone in supremacy (movie)....)...

then the second book is someone is posing as bourne in the Orient...and killing leaving Bournes Trademarks...which forces the original Bourne out of retirement and back in a whole load of pain as he seeks out the darkest killers of Asia

then im half way thru ultimatium at the mo and thats basically the final showdown....boune is now 50 and the jackal is older and dying but still seeking out the Bourne for his injustice and to be crowned supreme Assasin of the centry

very very very cool books i suggest you read um!

BTW

the bourne Legacy is the name for the Trilogy...its not a seperate book...allthough there is a psychogy book called the Bourne Legacy which is basically a load of psychomumbo jumbo about the character etc

BTW 2

forgive my spelling...im tired

BTW 3

Films better then books

The Firm - John Grisham -
Great book....even better movie...love them both but the movie just clinches it for me...works better as a movie

The Shawshank Redemption - Stephan King
im prolly alone on this one but i hated this book....i've read alot of stephan king before and this one is just a load of shyte...the movie is beautifull but the book is just dull

The Fellowship of the ring - J.R.R Toilken
i know im alone on this one (and very un popular)
i love the books....and they piss over the two towers and the return of the king (both good movies as extended versions) but i just think Fellowship the movie is supurb and my personal fave out the trilogy because of the introduction to the characters, and to me it seemed to be the only one out of the three that made the characters their own....distinishable from the rest (for example Merry and pippen)....thats just my opion tho

Out of Sight - Elmore Lenord
great book
Cracking Movie
but as with alot of Elmore Lenord's books....they would prolly make better movies....except mayb Jackie Brown and Tishmingo (?) Blues

thats just the few i can think of off the top of my head :)

last i heard about brosnan was that he's fallen out with the producers but will mayb appear in the League of Extrondinary Gentleman sequal.....

thats prolly bullcrap tho

i also read today Eric Bana had been offered the role of bond....

HE'S A BLEEDING OZZIE FOR QUAKERS SAKE

He was never officially offered the role, but due to rumors he stated publically that "he is not the next James Bond". Read that as you may.

Of all the names floating around, my vote would be for Clive Owen.

BTW, did you know the Pierce Brosnan was born in Ireland.
