Yakima Canutt made a flim with the distinction of being the first Marijuana Western (It was named Notch Number One, later renamed High on the Range); years later we got Zaccariah (1971) starring John Rubinstein and Don Johnson...

I first saw these gems at the Midnight Movies in Houston, where at midnight hundreds of dopers would sit in a theater, smoke reefer, and laugh uncontrollably while eating too many Bit'O'Honeys and Milk Duds.
After a while Rocky Horror took over all the theaters at Midnight and cool flicks (A Boy and His Dog, Zardoz, etc.) were no longer shown...just Rocky Horror.
Sigh.

That's because beer is only around 5% alcohol where is wine is like about 13% - guys just cant handle this shit *hehe* :bateyes:


You know I always would have said weed but after a reaction to alcohol where I couldn't drink for like 6 months I realised that I like to smoke but wine with food, beer with friends is sooooooooo worth it!!!. So for social reasons only I would actually choose booze... but hey I'm fucking happy to do both *hehe* xXx :eek: :joint: :glugglug:

Alcohol content has nothing to do with it. In my teens and 20's I used to get drunk on alcohol and wine. In my 30's now, taking a shot of anything just makes me nauseous. Wine is just too pretentious for me . That's just the way I see it.

I love a good joint after work. Most celebrities in Hollywood can put you over the edge, so the weed keeps me from slapping them across the face. I don't drink alcohol cause I've seen it ruin my father's life and the girl I have ever been in love with.

I do remember the very first time token back in 1991, we were listening to Mother Love Bone in my parent's garage.

Honestly neither. Although to be fair I have never actually used weed. Have had a contact high though. Just neither of them do anything for me. I'll take a 36 to 48 hour marathon game bender. Wicked buzz after the first 24 hours and you feel like you accomplished something at the end. However that's just me.

wine is too pretentious? what an ignorant statement. there are many different types of wine. table wine is enjoyed by "common" people or peasants all over Europe. Its very inexpensive and hardly "pretentious" and is enjoyed by as many men as women.

Believe it or not I haven't smoked weed since last September. Now I prefer booze. I really enjoy trips to BevMo. I picked up my first bottle of Knob Creek 100 Proof Bourbon. Anybody ever try that stuff? Sure looks good. Only $29.99 for a fifth too. I'm looking for a night to watch The Big Gundown with Lee Van Cleef on Blu-ray and drink a lotta-lotta that stuff. Yippee!

Nector of the Gods my friend. My favorite whiskey, and the smoothest Bourbon I've ever had. They make a 130 now too.
