if i were that guy id use it in some kind of nasty fucking ****** to male human gay pornos and make sure the world and especially Barry knew about it

I seen one dude jump about 4 rows down in a orange jacket... he would have caught a elbow if he'd did that sh** to me.

that's just me though

That balls worth 2 million maybe.Bonds record will be seen as tainted. He was a great player but he had help bulking up.A-rod who I hear Conseco is going to write about in a book on his steroids use is already ahead of where Bonds was at his age is next in line to break the record.I wonder how Willie Mays would have been with some chemicals lol.

and hank aaron played a lot longer than the babe. all hail the real homerun king. a god among men, babe ruth.

Babe Ruth is the Sultan of Swat, but I felt like I should mention Sadaharu Oh, who has the World Record of most HR's hit with 868 (Japanese League).

Also, Josh Gibson, who was said to hit nearly 800 HR's in the Negro Leagues.

CANSECO :laugh::laugh: ha...
Canseco's a damn dickhead :conehead: don't trust him! he retired in '02 (did research) when A-Rod was just the "TX Rangers slugger and young talent". I bet this new "batch" of info is a big ass lie that he's tryna sell because he has credit from the Juiced book.

It'll be interesting to see how these accusations will make people look at A-Rod and anybody else out of this era

gibson has more play to me than oh.

I have always been and will always be a Bonds fan, so I' really happy for him that he did it.This is one of the greatest if not the greatest records in all of sports, and I'm just happy as a baseball fan to see it in my lifetime.I do think that I will probably see it broken again some day(hopefully not by A-Rod).Whatever your opinion of Bonds, you should be happy that you witnessed a great moment in sports history.

As far as other records go,I will say that I will be absolutely amazed if I ever see Wayne Gretzky's single season and career goals broken, cuz that ain't ever gonna happen.Or Bob Gibsons single season wins for a pitcher. Those are probably THE most untouchable records in all of sports, imo.

Apparently you're forgetting Happy Gilmore's record. He is the only person to ever take his skate off and try to stab somebody with it. :1orglaugh

Bonds was a sure bet Hall of Fame player before any of the steroids rumors started. Yes he is a first class prick but so was Ty Cobb.

As far as unbreakable records go I'd have to say that Johnny Vander Meer's back to back no-hitters is a safe bet to never be broken. I mean three in a row, yeah right.

It's not October yet. Bonds has to do it when it matters, not some stat.

And fuck it, the vast majority of the fans are ****** on ****, who gives a damn what the players are on.

In 2007 it's not about skill, but who cheats the best. For ALL sports.

Personally I'm glad Bonds broke the record already. Once it was clear he was within reach, it couldn't have come fast enough. I believe A-rod will break this record in the future (and possibly Sadaharu Oh's record as well). Though by no means am I a fan of A-rod.

Though the back to back no-hitters would be tough to break, I feel Cal Ripken's consecutive game streak may be even tougher. Usually there are only a handful of players each season that play in every game. This, combined with the longevity of the record, and the propensity of modern players to get injured shall IMO keep Cal's record safe for a long time. It also should be noted I'm not a Ripken fan either. I'm just trying to be objective.:)

who knows... i couldn't imagine a-rod breaking the record
wtf
it's a-rod bro... he'll break it in the next 5/6 years then everybody on espn will trash Barry when he finally has to deal with the video tape of him sticking steroid needles into himself

People always make the mistake that A-rod is just somehow going to breeze along in his mid to late 30s like he does now without slowing down any. I wouldn't count on it. He's already 32 years old. I think barring injury A-rod has maybe a 50/50 chance of breaking the record, and that assuming Barry doesn't pile on much this year and retires at the end of it. If A-rod gets injured for any length of time or starts suffering from a chronic condition then forget about it. Remember what people said about Ken Griffy Jr.

It's a good couple of points you make. Certainly injuries (even fluke injuries) are common in the game. The chances that A-rod will be a slugger to be reckoned with through his later 30's, early 40's are indeed dubious. I think the key to mastering both eventualities may be his fitness regimen. He will have to keep himself impeccably healthy as he ages. I think the chances are maybe 2/3 that he will break the record. If (and it's a big if) he is one of these guys who can play effectively until maybe 42 or 43, then barring injury, he might have a shot at Oh's record. Chances on this I would think are about 1/3.

Not to mention the fact that Griffey played in an all out manner, crashing into walls, climbing walls etc... which is something that Rodriguez won't really have to worry about.

But on the note of tonight, I was actually there, (only because my best friend is a Giants fan), and I was absolutely blown away when Hank Aaron showed up on the jumbotron. Always a class act. He and the Babe will always be two of the classiest players ever.

My thoughts exactly,D.
I honestly don't see A Rod keeping up this pace AND staying healthy.I just think that the odds are against him.
And look at all of the other HR hitters they hyped over the years:Griffey(my personal favorite),Pujols, and recently Brian Howard, all seemed to be on pace and they all slowed down.Howard is younger so he still has time to get even better, but it's just so hard to keep up that high level of play for so long.
