the western world is the most tolerant , benevolent part of the world.
the arab world in general is completely intolerant.
if you cant see that well......

two very different cultures in those terms.

I don't hear anyone complaining about Jews thinking pork is unclean.

To be honest and fair I have always found that to be silly also, but at least something like that doesn't adversely effect somebody's life in any significantly meaningful way like not letting somebody have a guide dog does.

it seems clear that the poor blind girl, and i say that with complete sincerity because what a bad break she got in life.
but her family put their religious or cultural beliefs over the well being of their daughter who they should have sacrificed anything for.
but then again the way they probably see it is that shes just a girl, and a handicapped one at that, so who gives a fuck.

I don't recall saying the west wasn't tolerant. I said certain people in the west are ignorant. Generalizing all Muslims as terrorists who are unclean, covered in sand and abuse women is, uhh, fucking retarded. Please, go outside one day and meet a Muslim person. You'll probably be surprised when they don't blow you up. Generalizing all Muslims as terrorists and radicals just because there is a group of them that is like saying all Germans are Nazis or all Americans in the south are dumb-fuck rednecks who can't read.
