Black History classes now banned in Arizona

Federal agents can be used as can the National Guard. Posse Comitatus only applies to active duty US military forces in Title 10 status.

Border Patrol and Customs are federal agents. And the reason why a reasonable, knowledgeable person wouldn't deploy the National Guard for border duty is because it's call up duty (a) and (b) the training a deployment would not only be counterproductive to their primary mission..backing up the Army but also impact their role in emergency response.

I still haven't seen a coherent, rational reply that explains why we needed a "black history" class in the first place. History is history, unless the classes were being used to further some other agenda *cough* politics *cough*.

I suppose it's like everything where Johnny-come-lately's join a discussion after the fact. Of course there was a circumstance at one point in our country where some parts of history were omitted or under-served.

We really need to come to fulfill Dr. King's Dream of looking at each other without seeing color. Classes like this, while probably started with the best of intentions, only seek to keep us from living that Dream and divide us.

Well..that is a dream that people won't see the distinctions race and ethnicity represent.

But all we need to do as Americans is live up to the "Pledge of Allegiance" where our nation stands for "...liberty and justice for all." That'll do.:2 cents:

This isn't just something that happened yesterday but goes back about 7 or 8 decades ago.

... "plain ol' HISTORY" notoriously omitted some aspects...specific histories were added with a designed focus on the role of those omitted.

Because the portrayal of history has bias.

i listened to alot of rhetoric against my will .... yesterday I went out to eat with my parents, and despite the fact i was with my beloved parents. i GAVE THEM little attention... I was glued to the screen.....It was called "the NBC nightly news hosted by Brian Williams".................. There is just a massive, bleeding-heart bias in the TV media that aligns itself well with Democrats regularly. Arizona has continually proved this, and this is the latest example.

I'm not saying Fox is "fair'n balanced." But damn anyone who bitches about only Fox really needs to get their head examined after this load of total bullshit.

I have yet to meet one person who has actually read the law, let alone some of read some of the transcripts of those behind it as well as the debate, who is against it. I honestly think it's the ultimate "litmus test" of actually caring to discuss the issues at hand in Arizona, instead of assumptions.

This is the United States of America. We are states of many ethic backgrounds. We are states of many views. We are states of many traditions. But none will be shown favoritism.

Outlawing favoritism does not mean outlawing history or study. It just means everyone will be considered equally, treated equally and taught equally. Arizona passed this law for a reason.

And it has nothing to do with racism.

I've said it before ...

Arizona is absolute proof there is a left-wing, bleeding-heart bias in this country. Even more humorous, and very sad, are the number of politicians who have not read the law that are against it.

Talk about self-education, or lack thereof!

Left-wing lawyers are currently scrambling to find a way to take down a law that is very compatible with federal laws! The lack of enforcement is what is driving Arizona insane.

Especially when they arrest and prosecute illegal immigrants, who are committing a great, significant numbers of crimes in the state. This "no rights" bullshit is beyond me, because they have legally full rights as a citizen, sans voting at this point (and illegally many have that, as well as a driver's license, etc...).

Sorry, the statistics on this are very revealing. And before you give me the "lies, damn lies and statistics" line, think of what you're really disputing at this point.
