That is so wrong. The police are in that unique position because it has been recognised that they have a unique set of skills that makes them better than the general public and thus are better equipped to maintain order. This person should recognise that and accept the fact that if the police wish to give you a beating, even if said beating is one to the death, then it has been made in the polices own specialised field of knowledge and is for the greater good of the community. And in accepting said fact, he needs to just lie there and take it.
Fighting back goes against the established norms of our community. Docile and self moderating is the way one needs to be to be a valued member of our community. Everyone else is a deviant who should be ostracised or killed.
