Top 10:

1) Metal Gear Solid Series (All of them are absolutely perfect...it's one of the most epic stories ever told, let alone the actual game play. Which is amazing...this is so far above every other game/game franchise ever made it's ridiculous. Nothing else comes close.)

I agree. I remember playing MGS4 last year and it was like being in a movie. The whole storyline was awesome. I replayed the European city level recently and that cutscene where they fight on the river is incredible.

Bree Sorry but have not the computer or desire to play WoW. Although everyone I talk to who plays just loves it. I am not an mmorpg fan. I want to be the hero... not just another person in the world.

Nina First off hello. Second I loved Bioshock. Was such an awesome and exciting game.

JaneB Resident Evil and Diablo... You are my kind of gamer.

my all time favorites:
1. Resident Evil 2
2. Resident Evil 4
3. GTA 3
4. GTA 4
5. Diablo2 LOD
6. Battlefield 2
7. Mortal Kombat 2
8. Battlefield Bad Company
9. Half Life
10. Syndicate (part1 yes the real old game)

At the moment I play CoD6 MW2, it's really good!

My list.

1. Castlevania Symphony of the Night - It took the formula that worked for the original Metroid on NES and worked it into Castevania lore. The fact that you can miss HALF OF THE ENTIRE GAME if you miss two certain objects is the greatest game secret ever.

2. Metroid Prime - Speaking of Metroid, no one though metroid going first person would work. Yeah that worked out fine.

3. God of War - Much like the MGS series this game and its sequel(s) have an epic movie feel that is unmatched. Plus incorporating all the greek myths and gods into a game setting is outstanding.

4. Super Mario Bros. 3 - Nuff said.

5. Tetris - you just want to keep playing and playing and playing.....

Honorable mentions: GTA 3, HALO, Legend of Zelda, Street Fighter 2, CoD 4: Modern Warfare, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid

Rockband FTW. I can not, for the life of me, stop playing it

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
Maybe not the greatest, but some of my favorite:
1. GoldenEye - I used to play this every day after school with my buddies in middle school. This is one of the best all-time multiplayer games.
2. Legend of Zelda - I beat Ganon for the first time when I was 10, man was that rush!
3. Halo 2 - I spent many night during college having Halo parties with system link. This is one of the video games that I played better after consuming alcohol.
4. GTA III - innovative game. What's better than shooting people at random and killing hookers? If that's not the American Dream, I don't know what is.
5. Resident Evil 4 - I've had this game on the Wii and the Gamecube. It's an old classic that I'll always enjoy playing. There may not be a more powerful gun than the hand cannon.

There are definitely many more to choose form. These are probably my five most favorite.

I know, it IS a movie. You just get to play it...I remember the first time I played it the ending moved me so much I cried a little...how lame is that? lol
