its been a while since i posted so i thought id come up with a pretty cool topic. there's tons of them and some are still believed and argued all the time.

so, whats some of your best/craziest/most believable video game rumors?


one of the best ones was ermac in mortal kombat 1. a red ninja who would later appear in later installments of the MK series was rumored to be unlockable if you had 2 flawless victories and did a fatality in circle in the shrine level of the first mk. gaming magazine EGM even did a fake article with a fake picture to build hype. i tried for hours to do it with no avail.

i heard that if you did the car bonus stage in street fighter 2 by destroying the car with 2 hurricane kicks and then short kicks only you would face ken and ryus master. what a waste of time.

or in final fantasy 6 (3 in the us) you can bring back general leo and have him in your party by equipping maudin, phoenix, and some other certain epsers and walk around his grave 100 times while pressing "A" counterclockwise. that one i tried for hours, what a bust!

I know! I remember hearing about it and seeing it was from Peter Molyneux I knew I would be in for a entertaining treat. Yet, it was canceled.

I love dinosaurs! So naturally this game looked like it was going to kick some major ass!

Chrono Trigger: Get Cyrus on your team
Killer Instinct: Nude Orchid finisher

There are so many Final Fantasy rumors. There was one another one in FF7 about collecting all of the 1/35th soldiers, I forgot what it was supposed to unlock though.
