Well, Becks is by far the biggest Metallica fan in this household, but my favorite song is One. I also kind of like King Nothing and Fuel.

Interestingly enough, (at least to me) Metallica's "One" is not even my favorite "One". I like Creed's "One" better. (songs are totally unrelated to each other)

Have to agree with Becks...poamr:

This poll is obviously created by one of Metallica's younger fans - NOTHING included from Kill 'em all or Ride the Lightning (which HAVE to be included in ANY discussion of Metallica's musical place in History)

of the ones listed - I would have to say "Master of Puppets"

Here Zombie, Zombie, Zombie...
I've got to admit, I love "Tuesday's Gone". It's like a jam session with the Blues Traveler.

Hit the Lights, The Four Horseman, Blitzkrieg, Jump in the Fire, and Seek and Destory off the Kill 'em All album.

Ride the Lighting, and Creeping death off Ride the Lighting.

Battery, Master of Puppets, Disposiable Heroes, Leper Messiah, Damage Inc off Master of Puppets

Pretty much all of ...Justice for all.

And I love S&M for them breaking out of the box, but on a whole I love all their work.

Most def have to give Orion or Battery the title of best Metallica song.
I also dig the fast shit, and Dyer's Eve is both fast (Metallica's fastest) and one of the most pissed songs I've ever heard.

Everything after ...And Justice for All is garbage.

Without a doubt, its One.

I'd say Leper Messiah, Disposible Heroes (don't know how they play so fast for so long), Four Horsemen and Nothing Else Matters.

Can't choose just one :D

I can play most of those except D Heroes. Impossible that one.

Let's all just agree on "The Four Horsemen". A metal masterpiece for all times.

Sanitarium is my personal favourite. Why is The Unforgiven II there, but not I?
