Marlo Manson

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
the one thats just ended. those are my favourites ones.

For realz. :yesyes:

sorry I am in the same boat as the examples quoted above! I hate metallica anything!! lars has to be one of the most irratating people I can think of in the music industry; he stands along side of britney spears; jessica simpson; all of the gay boybands; micheal *jacko-wacko* jackson and eminem.. to name a few of the worst and most annoying people.. :hatsoff:

knows petras secret: she farted.
yeah, its not even so much that their music is so flat, 1 dimensional, boring, and never evolves, what pisses me off is how they cried over people downloading their shit. are you serious?! what a bunch of losers. but dont let me ruin your fun, go on, name some more. i mean if people were downloading my shit, id be happy. the quest for money has out-shined the yearn for art and soul in music.

Perfectly stated. I couldn't have said so better myself.

On the flip side, I was really surprised at how nice these guys really are in person. I worked their show when they opened for the Rolling Stones about 2 years ago. They sat in catering all day just bullshitting with anyone who came near their table. I was on my lunch, and James called me over and introduced me to Lars, and they both asked how my day was going and seemed somewhat genuinely interested. I was really surprised because 90% of the time this is unheard of amongst rockstars. They mostly hole themselves up in their dressing rooms until it's show time, then they bee-line to the stage with as little contact as possible with anyone who isn't a band member. I guess this kind of earns them brownie points in my book.

That said, I vote for One and Sad But True.

My favourite Metallica song is ''For Whom The Bell Tolls'', but from that lis Ill go with ''Master Of Puppets'' the second best song on that album the first being ''Battery''.

Was there a song called "We'll sue all you bastards who made us rich and famous!"?

I keed... I keed...

Seriously, I think most of the people downloading stuff in the beginning were the ones who also bought the CDs, and, before that, the tapes and albums.

Just a thought. Oh, and I voted for Sandman.

Unforgiven II got on the list but not Unforgiven? Whaa!?

Orion or For Whom The Bell Tolls for me.

Whiplash! :banger:

I was lucky enough to hear that LIVE this year! Also got to hear Orion once too, the second time they had ever played it in concert.

And to all the haters, please remember that is just your opinion. I also don't believe they would be one of the biggest rock acts of all time if what you say about them was true. ;)

...what's a Metallica?

:D

They lost me when they pulled that stunt. Still doesn't negate the flawlessness of And Justice...

Here's the deal; what a lot of artists in the industry don't understand is, that when people download their stuff, they are actually helping the artiist they are downloading. They are playing their stuff, getting the word out, puting them on to new people. Which is why I never understand the argument an artist could have against a person wanting to download/play their music. They don't really make much off royalties anyway; the money is made when they tour the hell out of their albums. That is where the bread is made.

BTW, anything after the Black album is pretty much rubbish.

Yeah, and also when Metallica went up against Napster file-sharing on the internet was a very new thing, they didn't know what the hell was actually going on.
