I wish I could have seen Thursday perform live. Geoff Rickly is the best frontman of the best post-hardcore band that ever existed. RIP Thursday 1997-2011 (although they stated they are on an indefinite hiatus)

Meshuggah headlining a show with Cynic and The Faceless. I'm about to see Mushroomhead for the first time on Saturday so I guess the 2nd part of your question is about to come true.

Mushroomhead is excellent. Saw them a couple times a few years ago. The other bands I will have to check out on you tube.

Long time fan of Mushroomhead and I gotta admit, their concert was the most visually entertaining concert I've seen. The water drum playing and the new winter masks were so cool. One Eyed Doll and opened up for them and that's another very entertaining band. I'm sure you already know by now but Meshuggah and the other two bands are very very heavy. Djent, death and prog metal usually are.

Best shows I've been to were this year : BB King and then BT
I'd love to see Bruce Springsteen and at least once I'd love to make it to a giant festival like Wacken Open Air

I'm sure that show rocked. The closest to Van Halen for me was when I saw David Lee Roth but it was very disappointing to say the least. His band that night just didn't have it.

Interesting that they were influenced by Joy Division. I remember seeing New Order back in the day. Bet they have a good sound.

Glad you mentioned it because no, i've been out of touch with the music but i'm finding my way again. Looking and listening for new stuff besides the archives. I remember Mushroomhead being good musically along with the visual. Been years since I saw them though. Powerful in their own way.
