Artists become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record. Criteria include the influence and significance of the artists’ contributions to the development and perpetuation of rock and roll.
Vh1 Rock Honors is far more of a relevant HOF than these morons.

Perhaps you should start a letter campaign to get them to induct your favorite bands. Who knows, it might help them

Based on what I have understood, the criteria they use now is not as it once was. The few people in charge today (non-musicians) have been basing their inductees on whether the names will draw large crowds rather than whether they really deserve it yet. The hall of fame cares more today about making their money. That is also why they have been inducting so many more artists per year than they used to.

I disagree with you on one thing Run DMC, they made modern hip hop
