On the note of the graphics... it does unfortunately look like every single other Unreal engine game... it's like they don't bother to change the lighting system at all (though it does work well, it looks pretty ... generic when every game looks the same.)
I just have a small bit of hope that there're a lot more gameplay elements than have been shown in the demo... otherwise, then yeah it might start to get pretty repetitive.
Just my opinion but Unreal Engine3 is showing its age and will get more weathered sooner rather then later.For one of the elite engines it was great when it came out but unfortunately it was too early in this gens life cycle. Being kinda taylored around the 360 and that style architecture didnt help matters either.
By the time Rage,COD6,uncharted2 and GOdof War3 come out,gears is gonna look like just an average upper class graphics whore game. Killzone2 started the decline of unreal/gears looking games....
