I finally broke down and changed my pre-order of the regular version to a pre-order of the collector's edition.:eek:
whats in the collectors? By the way this thing is killing in the ratings. Only 3 so far but its averaging a 95% and its being called "this years Bioshock"

Just got it this morning and it's incredible. I love the controls and the detective mode. I got it on PS3 so I'm going to play the challenges as the joker and I got a special code to get a batsuit for the challenge mode too.

The Batarang is alright, not great because it's made out of Lego plastic and not metal and it's all black but you can paint it. However it does look great on top of my television. The real reason I wanted the Collector's Edition was for the other stuff. I got two codes for the "Gamestop Exclusive Dem Bones" and "Crime Alley" challenge maps, the Arkham Doctor's Journal is pretty cool because it gives you a doctor's notes on some of the inmates that have come through Arkham (including what the doctor thinks of Batman) and it even comes in an embossed leather dust jacket. It has a behind the scenes DVD which includes some of the trailers for the game and I like the 2-Sleeve Digi-pack packaging. The case it all comes in is pretty cool too.

i bought this game for the ps3 yesterday @ Futureshop. it was only $38 ...they have the same price at Canadian Wal Mart stores as well. it's only for 3 days, too ...so if you want to get it for the cheap, you better check around on thursday the 27th because the deal is over after then. i think its just Futureshop and Walmart in Canada that are selling it for that price ...but check around.

the ps3 version also allows you to play as the Joker on the challenge maps and it also unlocks a Batcave hideout on Playstation Home. the Batcave was actually kinda cool, too. i furnished it last night and it's now my new home on Home.

Gfly seems to be taking their sweet ass time sending me this one......i think it might be coming from their west coast house. it got sent on mon and todays thurs so....??? i too have infamous as my fav campaign game so far this year so im intrigued by you liking batman better......i wanna play.
