being a die hard red sox fan, i feel the pain of cubbie sufferers......

since we won ours (i can now pass into the afterlife) of course i want to win again.

Personally, i think the Tigers blew it rather than the Cardinals won it...however that is just double speak as the "best" team for those five games clearly won....

I agree that Detroit threw the series away. They should have won the last 2 games had it not been for the many errors. Were they this bad in the regular season?

NO! That was the sad part. IMO the Tigers just had a huge meltdown, or they threw (literally) the series away. How do pitchers make so many errors, so many games in a row.

I felt bad for them, its tough to play in the rain etc etc, but St. Louis found a way.

It was very anticlimatic, which is a shame, I love baseball

As much as it pains to admit it...I actually missed seeing the Yankees in the world series. Once the Yanks were taken out it was like "what can i bitch and moan about for the rest of the playoffs?" I think I'm one of those people who love to hate the Yankees
