The problem I'm encountering is with the "remember me" box. I check it off every time but I still have to log in all over agin when I return even if its five or ten minutes after I've left. I may not be the most memorable person in the forum but it should keep me in mind for that long

It happens with me too. But I've allowed Firefox to remember my username and password. That never fails.
