bad times for all german youtube users...

Dont worry you can always find videos, it been like that here for a couple weeks now. But I can always find videos if I want to watch them.

I dont really bother with videos much, I like to listen to the music whilst doing other things so if just the song is posted I'm happy

First Napster, now You Tube? What's next?

I'm not that big of a youtube user, but this is nonetheless kinda ridiculous. GEMA is getting greedy, youtube is getting cheap/chintzy and the customer is the loser in all of it as always.

Eventually something will come along to replace it, then they will try to ban that also and the cycle will continue.

Name off all the popular sites where media is exchanged for free. They'll all be reigned in one day. MySpace, Facebook, twitter, etc.

Companies just dont realize the public will go to a different place for a few years, keep sharing their product and they'll spend way more money trying to control the internet.. rather than embrace it.

Hey, their loss. Im'a go download sex and the city and some family guy episodes, now.
;) ;)

As much as I hate to see this happen, it isn't YouTube's fault. In the past 6 months they've been told that they can no longer host music in Europe and the US. YouTube (Google in general) has made a strong case in court to not block this type of material, but so far the courts haven't agreed.

I took 3 Hours yesterday to look for unplayable YouTube Videos, but I could watch them all without Problems... Nothing has changed so far - at least for me.
