Ask a canadian person...

Acutally, anything under a dollar bewteen the US and Canada is actually of the same value. Plus there are certain quarters that are worth quite a lot of money. Such as one type of quarter is worth about $10 grand.

And "eh" must be a northern Canada thing. Down here I don't think I've ever heard ANYBODY end a sentence with "eh". It is an absurd stereotype.

I've been watching Ice Road Truckers lately, and just about all of them say "eh" after a sentence. A lot of them seem to be from British Columbia, if that narrows it down.

Do Canadians get annoyed when one of your people becomes famous, then moves to another country and pretends to be from there?

And are you really as friendly and helpfull as people say, or do you have a dark side? :yinyang: :wave2:

Quarters and dimes?

Not a good idea, Canadian dollar worths less. At this very moment, one Canadian dollar worth exactly 0.805932 U.S. dollars.

Economists predicts it will keep going down to 70ish cents. Few months ago, it was 1,05$

I'll take the coins. Then I'll visit the states and get it converted to bills and then convert to Canadian cash.....

I have a personnal preference for Molson (which is also the former owner of the Canadien NHL hockey club).

On the other hand, Labatt is an excellent corporate citizen, providing excellent support to Montreal Just For Laugh/Juste Pour Rire and the Jazz festival.

Molson Dry and Labatt Blue are the most popular beers of respective companies.

I'm a Labatt Ice drinker. Guess we are meant to clash on beers and French/English. Thought you'd be pimping Molson Canadian against Blue. :1orglaugh

i fucking love non "french" canada and labatt blue commercials and justin morneau (the most underratted baseball player in the world)

Yes. It's usually considered a big thing.

Visitors are usually amazed at how friendly and helpful people are in Canada.

Our darkside? I guess canadians, in general, are politically correctness fundamentalists. :D

We know where the stars come from. Only one that most of us hockey fans hate is Brett Hull. F'n traitor. Whiny b*t*h couldn't wait for his turn to make a national team so he became a US citizen and joined the hockey team.

In general, we help out a lot but there are sh*t-heads that are in society. In bone-chilling frigid weather or hi-way accidents, people help out.

As for the dark-side, get us angry and we might torch the White House again. I think it was just the library the first time. :)
(gotta love history)

Bad experiences in Québec?

no it just doesn't compare to the awesomeness of the rest of canada, plus it doesn't help i hate the french language (no insult intended if you speak french) besides i had ketchup flavored potato chips once on a steam boat in winnipeg which made my day like no other

Music wise, we also gave you Shania Twain, Annihilator, The Guess Who/BTO, Neil Young, Helix, Bryan Adams...Celine has a great voice. Alice Cooper stated on his radio show that he likes it.

You also have hot pornstars: Shyla Stylez, Nikki Benz, Shay Sights and Kianna are canadian.
Also you have a famous male singer called Roch Voisine that is very well known in France.

Maybe Lanny Barbie can help with the rest of the words? :D

you're damn right she does

"Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!"

thank you canada...i take a bow

Watched so many Laff games on CBC and they join both French and English versions of the Anthem, and then hear it it on the Western feeds, it messes me up.
