It depends on what you mean, political, cultural, economial (is that a word?). Personaly I like Japan, Iceland, Canada and New Zealand, all for various reasons, including culture, lanscape and mindset.

And don't worry, this thread is for everyone, not just Americans. :thumbsup: :wave2:

Hungary

Switzerland

all good in their own way like Britain

But coming back home is the best.. to fish and chips, rain, litter, mouthy kids, tea etc. lol

Countries I haven't been to I don't really have an opinion on.

I'd love to go to Iceland and Japan.

If I went to the USA I think within 2 minutes I'd be in one of your prisons for something. :eek:

I'm a "Brummie". Quite like the term myself, but Scots folk (in my experience) do NOT like Jock.

Others are

Yamyam = Black Country
Tyke = Yorkshire
Cockney = London
Carpet Muncher = Kidderminster (lol) only joking guys..

I suppose in American terms it could be called the deep south without the religion, but you go into deep you'll never be found. Your ass will be stretched and you will be squeeling like a pig in no time.

Residents of Birmingham (Brummies) meanwhile often refer to their Black Country neighbours as "Yam Yams", a reference to the use of "Yow am" ( or yow'm) instead of "You are", and not because they say "i yam" instead of "I am", in fact the phrase "om" is often used instead of "I am" in the area.

Not because they ride Yamaha motorbikes or eat Yams... :D

I too am a proud Brummie, as i've mentioned before.

You guys would piss yourselves if you heard a yam yam speak.

It's a very funny, and VERY regional accent, mostly spoken by older generations.

So "Alright mate, how are you?" becomes "oroight maiyt, ow am yam?"

As a rule the general population will not like the french or ze germans although i have no problem with either
