It's probably a bad idea. You just have to look at Ireland as an example. Independence sounds quite good on paper but when i comes down to it, i imagine we will suffer. As everyone says. "Why can't Scotland be a nation on it's own". But if you think it through, one thing which would really hurt, is the economy. We would probably have to join the Euro(just look at how well that's doing. We would be the Portugal or reece of the north.
You could possibly call the economy thing either way. It's a tough call. If we were allowed, i would vote for the increased powers. But at the moment, i see it as an economic non starter
