I was watching the Following and oddly enough it inspired this topic:

You have been ********* and have a serial killer pointing a *** at you. He gives you a ***** and tells you to **** another person he has *********. If you don't he will **** you. [NOBABE]The ***[/NOBABE] on the show cried, begged, prayed, but finally ****** the other hostage.

On the plus side [NOBABE]the ***[/NOBABE] is alive, but legally just how fucked is he? ****** 1, manslaughter, etc. the serial killer filmed the whole thing, so no chance saying he did the actual stabbing.

Stupid topic I know, but I haven't ***** in 24 hours

Crazy guy filming *******...Capital ******, with extenuating circumstances most likely to lead to Lethal *********.

Person ****** to **** victim...exonerated of all criminal actions, free to go.

Rigging a bomb to detonate when someone opens a door ******* "x" number of people and then ******* someone to open the door or die right there is still Cap ****** for the person intentionally setting up circumstances which are intend to **** others, and does.
The ******* is not guilty of anything legally indicting.

Well, laws tends to vary place to place but generally duress/threats don't apply to ****** (I'm actually not sure if they do anywhere). So generally speaking you can't **** someone at the behest of another person, even under the threat of death. It's your job to take that bullet, you are not allowed to put your life above another's. I think this generally applies to **** too.

Though terms and meanings vary somewhat place to place first degree tends to suggest premeditation, so that's out. Second degree is generally intentional ****** without premeditation, so again probably out (since it's not your intention to **** someone, it's just your intention to not die). *********** manslaughter is more about negligence, so again probably out. So you're likely looking at voluntary manslaughter due the lack of mens rea.

Isn't the premise the same thing that Charles Manson did? The only person he actually hurt was Gary Hinman. With Hinman, Manson sliced off his ear with a U.S. Calvary *****. However, Manson didn't **** Hinman. He let Bobby Beausoleil, Mary Brunner, and Susan Atkins do that.
