I'd have to say my money is on bird flu or some other form of influenza. It's patient and has been with humanity since the beginning.
Reminds You of the Black Plague, however, medical and "containment procedures" have come a long way since the 1300's.I would say that We will do it to ourselves with war.

I heard on an a show called Humans - will they destroy ****** earth that it will take over another 10000 years before this earth will be destroyed as technology is growing, so is harmful ways

The world will be just fine ...

Until our sun decides to become a red giant, the Earth will be just fine.
Now the people ... they're fucked sometime in the much nearer future. ;)
But the Earth and the carbon-based life on it will live on after humans are gone.

this is so very true! Even if we do destroy all life with a nuclear holocost the earth will clean itself and come back with new life forms. Man kind is doomed it's just a matter of time but the ONLY thing that will destroy the planet entirely would be the sun dying...or supernova to the uninformed

I read somewhere, and I'm not saying it's true. If you had massive amounts of high explosives (non-nuke) you could set off an explosion anywhere on earth and the sound and pressure waves would move through the planet to the anti-pode of the explosion, if you set off a second explosion at that anti-pode you would start a feedback loop. If you timed it right you could set up a symphony of cascading pressure waves that would tear Earth apart. Once an instability reaches a certain level it's self sustaining. Volcanoes ring the planet like a bell. I happen to believe this theory, because it's simple.

makes sense but then if your smart enough to do something like that why would you?

ok, first who is the girl in your avatar Gordar???

what about the huge mutated monters that comes from the oceans depth and destroy everything??? :D, that armagedon could be cool

I always thought waves of the same type would cancel each other out. That's part of the reason radio reception can get bad in between high rise buildings, and I think it is part of the reasons the headlights on a car don't seem as bright in the daytime. :dunno:

I was taught that waves are like a swing set, if a wave is reflected with the same clarity is was created it will amplify. If you and a friend had a tire swing and stood opposite each other and used the same ***** to push it between yourselves the swing will swing at such a high frequency it would over swing the rope, and lose control. Another way to think about it is feedback from a microphone through a speaker. But instead of stretching a rope or blowing an amp, the Earth would crumble or liquefy or something. Al I knows is that waves can cancel out or amplify, it's all in the timing.

PS I'm no physicist or geologist

yea we know more about outer space than we do about our own planet!
Space is empty and vast so we can do a lot more in orbit around the Earth and beyond then deep inside of it. The pressure of going deeper into the planet not to mention the heat would destroy anything we have to send in there in seconds. It's a lot harder to do then you think.

As long as nobody I've ever met/or will ever meet is alive when Armageddon comes, I don't really care... Maybe that's callous, maybe it's just pragmatic.

It blatantly will come, but I still think it'll be the Sun dying that wipes out life on Earth rather than anything else.

So nobody thinks God and Satan will wage war on Earth for our souls? No *****-Men of the Apocalypse? No rapture?

I think the tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, plagues, and war we have to face will only get bigger, until humans finally realize were not as smart as we think. The Egyptians built the great Pyramid now they **** on the floor of their stone shacks.

To be fair I think the reason most of the grand constructions like that don't happen anymore are the lack of vast quantities of slave labor and the unlimited resources of the rulers from back then. Even with modern machinery I don't know how easy it would be to rebuild some of the wonders of the past, and a lot of them would be greatly expensive. I would say that some of the people that built them were smarter than we give them credit for, more knowledgeable than even we are now in some ways, more artistic in their work, and probably cared more about their craftsmanship. (well maybe not the slaves)

About the four horseman and other parts of Revelations even though I am religious I always thought those things were mostly metaphoric. Unless people really think there will be four horsemen riding around and other things in that section.

Our creator could not have devised a greater test for humanity. I don`t think many can acknowledge the weight of responsibility we carry when we attribute spiritual and historic value to our beliefs. This is our common blessing and our common curse. We will either thrive in harmony or self-destruct. The choice is ours.
