Armageddon!!!

Space is empty and vast so we can do a lot more in orbit around the Earth and beyond then deep inside of it. The pressure of going deeper into the planet not to mention the heat would destroy anything we have to send in there in seconds. It's a lot harder to do then you think.
Don't try to explain it to them lordvader. We had a poll awhile back and most people thought the moon landings were faked.

So trying to explain the Earth below the crust will not only get you laughed at. But if you're actually a physicist or engineer, they'll say you're "biased" because of your education.

Gee - the world didn't end on Tuesday!!

Oh well, there's always 6th June 2106......:D

PS:A newly discovered remnant of the oldest surviving copy of the New Testament appears to suggest that the mark of the beast is in fact 616.
So either 6th January 2006 - or for our American buddies June 1st 2006 - was the real dreaded day of the Antichrist.

what the fuck you lookin at?
I'm really thinkin one of three things will happen maybe in our lifetime
1. comet
2. super volcano...yellowstone for example!
3. and probably most realistic nuclear holocost!
of course eventually the sun will die, which means explode and will completly incinerate at least the first 4 planets in our solar system...earth being the third. So we would be fucked either way, But thats closer to a million or so years from now so no worries for us or many generations to come!

I believe we live on a planet that is only 13,023 years old, and I believe that we are now living through the Great Tribulation that comes just before the Second Coming. I believe in Armageddon, but it's not the one that most of you believe in. I truly belive that the Almighty Lord is going to end this present universe when Judgment Day comes in a few short years.

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Yeah I know, you're probably thinking I'm some sort of nutcase, but this is more truthfull.
