The rep can be fun, and it's nice to see that people like something you post. But I think that should be a "like" system, or something. Rep should be done away with.
Also, don't take things here so seriously. Negative rep is just silly. This is the internet, not real life.

I actually congratulate those who neg rep me for me it is stupid as it is not as if you suddenly have more power over someone since you have neg repped them.
It may just be me but IMO people on here take posts WAY to seriously, when neg repping saying things like what was the nedd for this, why single out one post or thread when there are hundreds of spam threads on this site.
I was neg repped for starting a thread about rep, someone saying there was no need for it, when actually there were about 5 pages of replies, you dont need to neg rep, just dont read the thread if you dispise it so much.
If rep is so useless, which i must agree that it is, then everyone who gives rep should give the smae amount.
What i mean by that is, why do you give less rep when you have a lower rep.
If rep is going to be given at all then it should be a set amount that is the same for everyone
I generally get rep from the newer board members, who obviously have less rep, therefore my rep goes up very slowly.

It helps me weed out the impostors and those that are my comrades. Like White said, the realist in the hood and I've learned how to filter out the fakes.
At 8mill for about 8K posts though, I'm about average as far as I've noticed and that's not bad considering some of the inflammatory stuff I've posted.
