Anyone in here into bodybuilding?

I have not seen any discussion on bodybuilding. Anyone out there? High testosterone makes you very horny, so you should be here.
 
I like to lift weights daily to keep my muscle tone, but I'm not much for bodybuilding.

Ok. Yeah i didn't mean strictly competitive bodybuilding.Even if you are just a gym rat who is into putting on muscle and looking great naked.
You know who you are if you are reading this.You take supplements, eat healthy, pound the weights with reckless abandon.And you fuck alot,and masturbate on the side.
 
i've started doing resistance-based exercises and running for a couple of months. i see some slight improvements, but i'm working at it. unfortunately, the action i only get right now is with my right hand.

I'm not necessarily a bodybuilder, however I lift everyday and try to stay in playing shape.

This is truth. There was a time in my teenage years where I thought muscle equals pussy magnet. Then I turned 20, joined the army.. got buff.. could run a mile in a nanosecond, could do 100 pushups without a drop of sweat.. then some time later I quit the military, went home.. did jack shit and realized it's way, way too much work keeping in fit form. You blow right thru all the calories you take in, you gain a ton of (muscle) weight, (killed my knees, I'd rather be skinny and lightweight with these aching joints) and what's the point? You're not going to live longer, you spend tons more on supplements and food.. and if you find a girl who drips at the sight of you you'll have to stay pumped for the rest of your life to satisfy that lusty hunger she had. Age isnt kind to the human body.

No offense, but I think that you did something wrong if you killed your knees. Many people do mistakes in this bodybuilding type of things, due to the lack of knowledge about correct tehniques... Like any other activity it can be harmful if not done in a proper way..

As for the "what for?" question - for each its own, but since I like girls with nice bodies, I think its a must for me to give them the same in return. Of course, this is not about becoming "mister Olypmia", but I think it is absolutely necessary to have some relief with you muscles and to keep yourself in good shape. Otherwise I won't have moral right to demand sexy body from a girl.
I must coincide with my own demands :dunno:

It is important for me, when girl have physical desire/lust towards me. It might not be important in "love", but when it comes to sex - I want to see that girl is full of lust and wants me. It well worth some work and time. If not to work for it, for what else should I work?

::sigh:: I've always had bad knees. The extra weight is nice to look at, and oh hey it's easier to pick up this box.. lift my girl over to here.. etcetera, etcetera.

As far as your question goes.. anything else. Prepare for the future. Work some extra hours. Muscle is a fleeting, temporary thing. Go read a book. Get a degree. Something a bit.. more.. oh I dunno. Practical?

I suppose I should put some sort of disclaimer up. At the time when I was fit.. I had infinitely more use for my mind than my body. I could walk into a bar with my BDU's on, flash some muscle and get a slut for the night, sure. I could lift hundreds of pounds over my head... but I got paid and respected for fixing a computer or handing out nutritional advice to the fellow muscular folks I was enlisted with much more than the physical aspect.

As a 12 year old said to his gym teacher the other day.. muscles arent going to get me thru college or pay the bills. Why do I need muscles like yours?
 
Doing regular exercise boosts your immune system and helps you fight off sickness.I work out 4 days a week and I consider myself to be in pretty good shape.

I am the only person in my family that works out on a regular basis,and the only one that isn't overweight and has health issues.Sure,we aren't going to live forever,but with the time that I do have,why the fuck would I want to feel like shit for most of it?:dunno:

I personally have no sympathy for most people who constantly complain about there health that don't exercise or try to eat healthy.Go for a walk for an hour a day,at the least,and cut down on the fried foods.It's not the hardest thing in the world to do.

Speaking of which,I'm on my way to the gym in about 30 minutes.

I do a lot of arm curls but unfortunately a pint of beer doesn't weigh very much. :(

And the fucked-up part is that it keeps getting lighter with each curl. Hmph. Speaking of! Time to go refill my glass!

well, that is about priorities.
muscles are not supposed to pay the bills, so why demand this from them?

but I think that keeping yourself in form is something as compulsory, as cleaning your teeth or washing, and at the same time it is a sign of respect to your sexual partner...

Some people prefer to get girls with the money. They spend time on earning money, and it results in a fat ugly guy with sexy chick... But I do not want to be one of that guys, even though he might fuck beautiful girl - their sex is not based on mutual desire. I think it is very important thing - to arouse physical desire in your partner.

For example, if some chick fucks with me cuz I am "very clever", "rich", "kind and interesting" or cuz I am a president of a big company and she wants to recieve a good job and to make a career through that fuck, or if she have any other non-sexual interest - it is not my cup of tea. I do not want it. It won't give me pleasure.

For me sex is interesting only when the girl wants it. And there is no other motivation, expect her lust and desire.

I could imagine two girls: one of them holds a PhD, is very clever and spend a lot of time at the library, thinks about her future, has brilliant career etc... But she does not give a heck about her body. She has different priorities, and spend her time not in a fitness centre or a beauty salon. And the second chick is quite the opposite: she is sexy as hell, and she works a lot to keep herself in shape and to be sexy.
The second one is better to my mind :dunno: ..This is more successfull and better and happy life in my understanding. In general, to be popular among opposite gender - is one of the most important components of happiness! It works in equal measure for males and females. Figurally, I want to be the second chick from my example. Not the first.

So I better do my best to be an object of desire, cuz finally it gives me more happiness than any other activity that I can spend my time on.

That's how I see things. Though, of course, working out does not automatically mean that you don't have no time for the rest things in the life. It is about right balance, as usual, but still body - is very important thing.
 
I used to lift weights 4 to 5 times a week, but now that I have a family I don't go to gym at all but I still want to exercise and have a fit body. I am thinking about purchasing P90X and the Iron Gym so I can exercise at home. I have seen the informercial and I think it's exactly what I need. The Iron Gym lets me do the pull up at home. If anyone has used P90X please let me know if it's worth the purchase.
