"If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon"-Obama. What do you think he's implying? Also, what makes you think any of the information fed to us by the crooked, ratings hungry media is accurate or unbiased? Maybe there's something you don't know, that I can teach you with one statement; EVERYBODY IS RACIST. It doesn't matter what race you are, you're going to have certain prejudices that color your opinion of other people. Maybe Trayvon was a criminal. Maybe he was some kind of angel. Most likely he was somewhere in between, and the media is exploiting whatever image of him drums up the most sympathy, to hook more viewers.
The media can be biased but there are some things you can't distort.
1) Martin was unarmed
2) Zimmerman pursued him on a whim
3) Martin had no bruises on his hands to support that he was punching Zimmerman, as was claimed
4) Security footage shows Zimmerman to have no injury to himself, bandages or blood on his clothes (or it's so minimal that the quality doesn't pick up on it, despite Martin beating on him for a whole minute.)
One can distrust the media, but not the local police or a vigilante?
And what do YOU think Obama is implying with those words? If you want to talk about distorting, people somehow conjured the idea that he made a racial matter out of it. I just saw it as a way of saying that he could be anyone's kid and he was able to emphasize with the tragedy of losing one. I think people choosing to interpret that as something incendiary speak for themselves. There's always a group that seeks to twist things in a way to further their own agenda, no matter how low they have to sink.
