I think that the rampage fight could be fun but i agree that he will have trouble closing the distance just like everyone else does... I think you need somone with a really hard chin who can take Machida down... Hendo (Dan Henderson) is a good option

Machida vs Silva will prolly never happen, and if it did, according to their managers, it will cost over $100 million... which Dana won't pay.

Rampage is the hardest hitter in the UFC, and if he connects with Machida it's curtains. But that won't happen, Machida will be the champ for awhile.

There's times when I wish someone would beat the shit out of Dana White. However he is one hell of a smart business dude. Tell him something will never happen and he will make it happen. He can make Machida vs SIlva happen....under $100million. Believe me he will do it if he see it fit and he knows it will generate the big buck$$$!

Right now many want to prove they can get past Machida.(Forrest, Hendo, Rampage, Evans<rematch>, Jardine, Ace Franklin, Brandon Vera just to name a few). And the whole 185 pound group wants to be the one to get Silva. Some might get a chance but when he sees time for it to be fit he will have a Silva vs Machida match.

ALSO- Who knows is Silva can get past Forrest? GSP also deserves a shot at Silva before Machida does. He has held and defended his title longer. He has also went against some of the top notch fighters. First we need GSP vs Silva and Machida gets the winner. Then we can know who the true P4P fighter is.

I think Rampage is also a smarter fighter. They were trying to market him as some stupid brawler/wwe guy, but if you notice his fights, he gets a lot better.

I don't know what that whole mental freakout with the cops was all about, but it looks like he is on the way up. I think if he or any other top notch fighter comes in there with real agility and athleticism, they'll give this guy a problem.

I also wonder if Machida could last with someone who spends the fight wrapped up with him? He doesn't look as conditioned as some of the other fighters out there.
