My all-time favorite is called "Princess Mononoke"
I saw a series on the Sci Fi channel recently called Monster. It looked pretty good, I want to buy it on dvd.
Some of it is pretty good. I have liked Anime since seeing "VOLTRON" as a kid. And if you want to see something good, check out the unedited Japanese version of Voltron... "Beast King...GoLion!" It had blood and gore!

oh yea i forgot about bleach, gantz, soul eater, and berserk. I hate when they only do one season of an anime when the manga is still ongoing.

both. ive been reading the manga up to the marineford arc. the animes hilarious. i like the japanese sub.
I own Gantz but haven't gotten around to watching it. It looks bad ass.

Recently watched Gundam Unicorn episode 1 online tut tut naughty me.......And to be honest I was completely blown away by the Gundam series I have seen so far. Usually some of the anime I watch I have difficulty trying to work out the message or whatever in it but this Gundam stuff really fucking awed me with its deepness.
Let me explain besides all the really cool political shit which most of the mofos that slabber on everyday on this site about. You basically take that fast forward it, And if your into sci fi in anyway its all taken onto the platform of space.......Throw in some mad dictators/movers/key figures and some revolutionary genetic engineering and sha bam you got one entertaining bloody experience.
The commentaries on ideology, And my take on it, The curse of humanity's abstract/creative thought.Ideas/ideals and dreams that may involve crushing other people's dreams etc......Then you have the commentary on guys who basically stand out, They are dreamers and non conformists and I just find it fascinating that this comes out from a very traditional and conformist society.
Its great stuff, Its like a constant reminder to beware nationlism, radical ideals but not forget your own dreams and who you are. Also I really believe if we ever manage to colonize space we probably will wage some colonial wars on each other so they got that right and also man, The Japanese, Through their youth watching and thinking about this shit probably will invent some highly useful space technologies.
Jesus I could go on and on but end up repeating myself occasionally.....Just watch it besides the really obvious kick ass robots blowing the crap outta each other, sweet animation and intriguing plotlines....If you really watch it, It should provoke some thought
