Alright, so who else got stuck in the snow or got stranded someplace?

I just hired a tractor to dig my driveway out. I've had to stay in town since Friday morning. No TV stations, so I watched the same DVD half a dozen times. I've never been so happy to be home. :nanner:

Compared to what some people have gone through, my experience was pretty minor. I hope everyone is safe and warm.

Just had a leisurely drive back from breakfast at Coco's. Had my favorite; the Tex-Mex Scramble with 2 cups of their delicious hot organic coffee. Warm and clear today with sunnny days ahead to look forward to. El Niño who?

Where I'm at people just deal with it, and we can have a lot of snow. You shovel out and go on just like the day before. As an example my employer has closed once for weather in the last 60 years. So even through historically and epically bad snowstorms people are expected to show up most places they need to go. Most other places around here are only marginally more lenient.

I have a 500 foot driveway and I live up on a ridge. We get some decent snowfall almost every year too. And usually I just do what I have to do. But with two feet of snow and going uphill: either a tractor or nothing. Even the tractor got stuck a couple of times. This blizzard sucked balls!

I've been home all weekend. I started to shovel snow Saturday but the snow was still falling and I decided to wait until today. Dug my car out earlier today.
