I could be wrong. But in Canada, I believe it's legal to have sex with a 14 years old if her/his parents consent to it. Of course, what parent would consent to it.
Yeah 24 to 15 is just too much. 9 years is no big deal if you are my age (42). But at 24? That means when he finished high school ( if he graduated) 6 years earlier - she was 9? Yikes!

We weren't talking about porn or actors. We were talking about real life, not fantasy. And YES, aside from legal aspects, there ARE moral and ethical problems with adults having sex with minors, 9inch. I hope I misunderstood your post, because otherwise, it's repulsive.

this is a dumb question. there is no ethics to it. sorry to tell you guys but someone doesn't go to bed on monday and wake up enlightened on tuesday when the clocks stikres midnight and they turn 18. If two people are capable of dealing with the issues that they have in thier own life AND thier partners, than they are suitable to be in a relationship.
Generally people reach puberty around the age of 12. In most societies it's recognized that people are going to start having kids at this time, so by that age they are taught everything that they need to know to be adults and have thier own lives. In our society we really never teach anyone this ever because it's not a priority, and then we simply notify them that they are "allowed" to do so at an arbitray time (age 18.)
now i'm not saying that a 40 year olf should be having sex with a 13 year old. I'm not going to get into the instances about why and why not people in generally should or shouldn't have sex. but if anyone should be having sex with a 13 year old it's another 13 year old.

I think if two people are mature enough to handle the relationship then it should not matter what the age difference is. In the states the law has decided what age is the legal age of consent. I think 15 or 16 is a reasonable age, however at the same time there are a lot of girls that age that are immature as hell. I know that I am probably going to be crusified for this statement. If one thinks about it women were having families 100 years ago at the age of 15 and 16. I think maturity is how much responsibility society and parents put on a child at a random age. These days we prepare our children to be adults by 18, and in years gone by they did so earlier because they simply didn't live as long as we do now. Plus a wife needed to start having children ASAP in order to help around the farm and or house. As for todays standards I don't think most girls can handle a sexual relationship much before seventeen or eighteen.
Society and the young girls dealt with it over a 100yrs ago - they can deal with it now. Today our perception is that they are too young. There is nothing as beautiful as a young nubile!
