Now I know that that kind of imagination was just a symptom of paranoia.

My house is kinda old and creaks throughout the day even if no-one else is here, I'm always paranoid that someones breaking in when I'm in bed.

But then I'm paranoid about my car being stolen anytime I hear something outside, its not like I even live in a bad area!

Lately I've been very paranoid when it comes to cybersecurity. I'm constantly running virus and adware scans on my Mac and fiddling with the security settings, especially after finding out about the flash player vulnerability. I've encrypted my system in order to better protect my information. It seems like every time you turn on the news a company is getting hacked or a new virus is being spread. I'm just paranoid that my system is going to get exploited

I have a nephew who's paranoid and totally convinced that it is the Anti-Virus companies themselves who are making and spreading Viruses and Malware in general. So, he hasn't used any Anti-Virus in years. He goes, "I haven't used an Anti-Virus in years and my computer has not been infected." I'll go, "Well, how do you KNOW your computer hasn't been infected if you don't have an Anti-Virus to TELL you that it is infected?" :dunno:
