A-Rod reportedly tested positive for steroids

So Jose Canseco was right after all?

:dunno:

Well I guess now it's a matter of how long had he been taking them and how many of his 500+ home runs are steroid induced. Something like this sort of makes you appreciate Ken Griffey Jr. a little bit more.

Not when it's been related to baseball and roids. He's been correct everytime. His only mistake may have been getting a speeding ticket in his Ferrari while he was getting blown my some babe...not his wife.

I just saw this. For someone on steroids he could be much better.

He's overpaid, just like Griffey Jr. was when he was on the Reds.

Griffy overpaid? Maybe so ,but the guy took a PAY CUT to play for a team & city he loved very much. Injuries killed his career.

Canseco feels as if the league has BLACBALLEd him so I guess he has nothing to lose by telling the truth. :dunno: People were skeptical when he called out the guy in Texas(can't think of his name) who lied before congress.

I doubted him a little when he said A-Rod but if the league wanted to get to the bottom of this problem & behind them they should have called Canseco to assist them.

Did't he implicate IVAN Rodriquez as well?

Woefully overpaid. His performance was horrendous.

I believe he wasn't telling the truth all the time with his "injuries."

I wouldn't have kept him around so long.
I would have traded Griffey to the White Sox a long time ago.
For Frank Thomas and maybe a pitcher or a few minor leaguers.

Or maybe he's not as good as people think.

Really,is anyone surprised by this news?

I'm not suprised.

I always thought that he was overrated. I'm just surprised that what with taking steroids and all, he'd be a better (more or less) player.

How much better could he be?

He was the fastest player to get to 500 HRs and pretty much all other HR milestones in between. If he were any better, they would have to check to see if his bat was corked before every game.

Seriously. The guy has been one of the best players in the league every year.

A-Rod tests positive for seriods, yet you're bashing Griffey for his performance?

A little ironic, dont you think? :dunno:

What controversial issue
On one hand, so what if they choose to use roids to increase their game.
Be all you can be.
On the other hand it seems like cheating, especially regarding the record books.
Ted williams and Lou gehrig for example never did roids.
If they had one can only imagine the numbers they would have acheived.

I know a little about roids, I thought most players did deca durobolin but now I find they are using Primobolan + (legal) testosterone(to decrease the limp dick side effect).
Primobolan just so you know is not a real strong steriod, but I suspect some were just using this in between off season cycles of stronger stuff.
But maybe not.
I'm just saying that Primobolan is not gonna get you huge or turn you into Lou Ferrigno.
It will just give you an edge and make your workouts somewhat more intense and the recovery between workouts faster therefore increasing your strength.

 It's their body. If they want to change it to become better.. how is this different from playboy bunnies getting boob jobs or .. eh, who cares. :p

If the possibility to be great is there, they can only be better with some help. Whatever.
