A-Rod gets 600!

The Jays kicked their teeth in the two games prior.

No one will remember A-Rod blowing twelve games. But everyone will remember how A-Rod hit his 600th home run in a 5-1 win against the Jays.

I've watched every at-bat since he hit 599, but I was taking a shit when he hit 600. Does that mean anything?

Ah fuck him and the other cheaters on the 600+ homer list. The records can say what they want, but in my eyes I recognize Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Ken Griffey Jr. on that list. Everyone else can go play in traffic.

And about the roids.
people over estimate the power of them.
they think about arnold and jay cutler and the monster top bodybuilders
the top bodybuilders are taking extreme amounts of combinations of these substances and eating like horses and lifting very heavy weights daily.

a baseball player taking testosterone is not gonna turn them into strength monsters.
to really get huge or even noticably bigger on test you need to take 1000, 2000 or more mgs per week and train with heavy weights daily and eat a real lot.
ball players are probably taking no more than 500mg per week and not lifting and eating normally.
its more to mantian stamina and muscle recovery.
I mean they are playing a sport almost everyday for 8 months a year.

I now accept it in pro sports, but acknowledge that players in the past did not have this advantage.

btw
I take 500 mgs of testosterone every 2 weeks.
its legal here and should be in the states also.
It don't make me bigger but it does help recovery from the workouts.
and my workouts each day are intense and heavy.
So maybe a little bigger considering recovery and growth go hand in hand.
But Is it cheating? if so cheating who?
To me its nothing more than helping the muscle recover and prevention of injury considering what i put my body through, and there are no health risks or side effects with such a low dose of a naturally occurring hormone.
If you start dosing out on these things, you may have problems, just like any other thing.

My point I guess is that many people think that any roids, any dose is a quick way to get huge......its just not like that.

Baseball records are the most sacred sports records in the U.S., and because of that I'm disappointed in the sense that these guys "cheated" to break these records.

But I also agree with MP, I think it wont be long before the stuff is more regulated and made legal.

If they are ever to perfect nano technology we will all be superhuman.

So was Barry Bonds. Bonds was the man. Hank Aaron can suck his shrunken penis. :yesyes:

You are WRONG!. Aaron was the best home run hitter ever. Ask anyone who gives a shit about baseball and they will tell you that. Aaron was and still is the Home Run King. If anyone should have broken that record it should have been Griffey Jr.

That's nice. Here's my argument:

Bonds holds the record.

Bonds > God > Aaron

;)

Look at Bonds' rookie card and then look at him when he was in his last season. Same with McGuire. And several others. The thing is they couldn't have been getting the same stuff we get because they were huge. I had a friend who took creatine (over the counter muscle builder, and I believe banned in pro sports?) in high school and he isn't freakin Hulk.

Is creatine banned in pro sports? Would'nt make sense if you can still get it at GNC. :dunno:

i don't think they will be made legal.
the usa is too set in its ways.

in the 60's they said pot would be legal, it still ain't.

i'm saying that i do appreciate the fact that from ruth & gehrig to mantle & maris steriods weren't in play.
then again neither were protien shakes, protein bars, creatine, and hundreds of other legal supplements that exist today.
they did have more nutritious food though.
So they do deserve credit for that.
plus i think the ball is more lively today, in fact that's fact.

I'm only saying that steriods are not as much of a powerful thing as people think.
its not like you do a cycle and you have superhuman strength.
unless youre doing very heavy doses of a combination of a several different ones, lifting hard and eating a lot the effects are not very extreme.
And I don't think professional baseball players are doing that, theyre just mostly big dudes naturally.
it is an edge though in muscle recovery and strength to an extent, a small extent.
Its just overplayed in the media therefore the general perspective of society.

well they were 20 years old and just practicing baseball at the time.
add 15 years of lifting weights everyday in the off season plus probably eating a lot great food prepared by their dietician and personal chef and youre gonna grow.
with or without roids.

its a fine line, ban roids like testosterone, then ban creatine, an amio acid, then multi vitamins, then protein shakes, then exercise altogether........cause its not fair.
