A Presidential candidate from last year, was NOT born in the USA!

I'd have more respect for the birther idiots if they'd just come out and admit this is all about hating the fact we have a black President.

That's what this is all about.

Yep just smoke screens for what they really want to say.

Unlike Obama who's background is still mysterious

Only a mystery to those who "wonder where the sun goes at night" and those who spend hours trying to see if the refrigerator light is on or off when the door is closed.

I know there is a world out there which has been created that some of you live in where no fact actually exists. There is a world some of you unfortunately live in where any reality can be challenged on the smallest, most far-fetched, most unlikely of circumstances....and that when one silly proposition fails you can just drudge up another.

All you need is enough fools to repeat the same tripe over and over again to enough idiots to make it so.

More comical is how these fools give birth to myths as fast as the last one can be debunked (of course Kenya likely has better record-keeping than Hawaii after all..)

In all of your "facts", which one included the overwhelming evidence provided by state health officials in Hawaii?

I mean, these poor people have shot down clearly and decisively any and all challenges one right after the other that have sought to demonstrate some illegitimacy of Obama's Hawaiian birth.

But again, I do get it. These childish, specious claims are not really intended for the sane, rational among us....but those who are just as likely to claim there is only a 0.00001 % chance you are you therefore you can't trust that you're actually looking at yourself in the mirror if such a claim was needed to prop up a political agenda.

I wonder what the likelihood is of Hawaii being in cahoots with the Obamas and the Dunhams in the early 60s under the presumption this child of mixed races would some day be in a position to be POTUS such that they would create a fiction out of wholecloth?

I'd have more respect for the birther idiots if they'd just come out and admit this is all about hating the fact we have a black President.

If Bush's grandmother had said he was born out of the country, it'd have to have been taken seriously as well. Of course, if this was a republican, imagine all the hysteria from the left that would be made out of such a suspicious statement? There is obviously a double standard with the left when it comes to "claiming" things.

Okay...but EVEN IF TRUE.....at what point are you inclined to believe what the official record says as compared to what someone says, context unknown?

I mean really, there are goons running our country who would literally take a statement Obama's Kenyan grandmother said of Obama's father and reconstruct her statement to attribute it to President Obama. That's how delusional and desperate some of these loons are.

Here's the thing, did you actually witness her saying this or is this hearsay? Because believe it or not there are idiots who understand the minds of fools and know all they need to say is someone said someone said something and that's good enough to have some fools swear by it.

You folks who keep saying this thing about Obamas grandma said he was born in Kenya need to put up some links proving it.

I have one here which says no its totally not true and explains how the myth got started.

Myth debunked lol.

Edit: She's not really his grandma eithier BTW ,just for the record, not that it matters lol.

Oh how convenient. If you don't like what he says and does, you are a racist.......
Newsflash, this just in: NOBODY CARES IF HE IS BLACK OR WHITE EXCEPT YOU PEOPLE CRYING RACISM ABOUT EVERYTHING.

I sincerely doubt that there isn't a few people out there who has a problem with it. Maybe not you, but do you speak for everyone who believes this myth?

Funny, since the whole birther thing has nothing to do with what he's saying or doing.

Argue those things all you like. But clinging to a stupid conspiracy theory about his birth THAT'S BEEN DISCREDITED AGAIN AND AGAIN and the racism comes through very clear.

I thought this thread was about Obama. No problem, just a question of checking the birth certificate...oh, wait, he doesn't have one for some reason, got lost in the mail, right?

His grandmother did not say he was born outside the country. That false claim has been debunked.

Please look at facts before posting.

Kthanksbye.

I don't know, dude. I also got those "facts" in an email I received last year. Not only was he not born in the U.S., but he's also a secret Muslim!

Like I said, I know these are facts cause I got them in an email. And you can't just put any old thing in emails, on TV or on the internut. If it's on the internut, then it's gotta be true.

On a serious note, I read that the only region of the country where large numbers of people believe this barking moonbat, lunatic fringe stuff is the south. Interesting, huh? The old Confederate states are the only ones where people (mainly White, interestingly enough) believe this foolishness. And they're the ones who are spending time on this, instead of focusing on the important issues of the day. And the GOP wonders why it's at it lowest point in many decades? :dunno: Sane, rational people are backing out of the GOP tent as fast as they can. Even if they oppose Obama, they don't want to be associated with the wingnuts that now control the GOP.

No the thread was about the one and only Presidential candidate (since George Romney) born outside of the United States....John McCain.

Has it? Seriously.
I do see your point however, if it really has been proven, which I don't believe it has, and people are still skeptical, racism MAY be a reason.
Or logical concern for ones country may also be a reason

Rey Rey, what a tangled web we weave..........
What could be more important than possibly having an illegal PREZ?
Several things I suppose, but its surely cause for concern.
The truth is we really don't know much about his past and alot of what we do know is cause for concern.

As far as the mostly white statement you made: Mostly whites thought OJ was guilty. Mostly Blacks thought he was not. Interestingly enough.

Meester, Meester, the possibility that we are being visited by space aliens is pretty important too... to certain types of people. But the same types of people are chasing that fly as are uber fascinated by this (non)story. The Supreme Court has already sprayed this fly - it's dead. But the wingnut Birthers keep trying to breathe life back into it. And yeah, to them, I'm sure it is a very important story. It's probably what they think about as soon as they wake up in the morning. They pick up and twirl around their rattlesnake to test their faith, and then they tune in Boss Limbaugh to see what the mothership expects of them that day. The theme song for these peoples' lives is "Does That Make Me Crazy?".

Yes, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that there was a racial dynamic with the Simpson story. But that was pretty much across the board. In this case, it is primarily southern based. Do you have a theory for that?

Well beings that were are stereotyping people in this thread,........
Actually no, because its not just southern whites who are critical of Obama, so I won't give a theory about something that doesn't exist.
But if it did, maybe its a racial dynamic..........

I'm not talking about people who are "critical of Obama." I'm talking about people who seemingly have lost touch with reality, or who are incredibly willing to buy into conspiracy theories, with but the slightest bit of evidence... and even it seems tainted. It's like instead of reading books as children, they were raised watching the X-files or something.

I've noticed on several boards I'm on how even harder right, quasi-neon types are now trying to distance themselves from the kookiest of the Birthers. I'm in the NRA and I have pretty firm beliefs on the Second Amendment. But the last thing I'd want is some kook from the GOA to wade in and try to "help me." People might start assuming that birds of a feather... well, you know how it goes, right? ;)

Ann Coulter was on c-span tonight at some young conservatives thing. Was really hard to watch btw but you gotta keep up with what the enemy is up to don't ya lol.

But something she said caught my ear especially. She said the Birthers are wrong and are a bunch of cranks. Now we all know how much loathing she has for dems and Obama in particular since he is President you know she would be all over it if she had anything she could hang her hat on to claim it.She doesn't and the claim of course is ridiculous.

Here she is saying they are cranks which I guess she has been saying for a while now.
