Somehow I doubt that. Polls consistently show that a lot of Germans have a rather negative opinion on Israel.

Regarding the "Shoa card:"

Some 60 percent disagreed with the statement that Germany owed a special obligation to Israel after the Holocaust

So I doubt that it would cost a sustantial amount of votes if a German politician would speak out strongly against Israel. For all we know, it might win votes.
