I'm not against the UN having some authority and, indeed, we have several terms the US is bound to and is taken to the World Courts for (among others). But it cannot be blanket. I know even Obama has the civic background to understand that (despite what some fools with their own agendas say), and I continue to respect him for such (among other leaders of this nation).

I don't think you followed what I stated. The UN does have some jurisdiction in matters of international banking, commerce, etc... We've openly and mutually signed those agreements with other nations via the UN. Why? Because we wish to see other nations have the same considerations as we do.

That's all I meant.

Just how are we to get THE FOOD to all those who are HUNGRY?

As long a people who have nothing keep re producing at an incredibly fast rate, they will spawn children who have nothing.

No amount of money can end world hunger. Nobody on the face of the earth has the discipline that it would take in order to solve such a problem.

Exactly. Whoever would be responsible for distributing the food would have to go to each and every mile of earth, hunting for starving people. Since that will never happen, neither will the end of world hunger.
