Interesting game, indeed, between Germany and Portugal. In my opinion the Germans were quite lucky. The referee didn't have to give the first penalty for Götze and could have given a penalty against Höwedes. Could have been quite the different result in the end. The red card against Pepe was well deserved though. What an idiot. This guy is probably one of the biggest assholes to ever step foot on a soccer field. And finaly a referee wasn't blinded by his Real Madrid superstardom and kicked his ass out. Dear ref, whoever you are, from now on there's a picture of you hanging above my desk. 
Let's hope the US can defend the lead against Ghana or possibly even score another goal. Germany and the US heading to the next round would be great.

I am very pleased with the performance of my Fantasy League team so far. Rodriguez, Messi, Neuer, Mertesacker and Müller especially.
Jordi Alba, not so much.
Even if they beat Ghana 5-0, I'll still expect them to get humped by the Germans and picked apart by Cristiano. Someone will get some adamantium into Little Ron and he'll be good to go in time, I'm sure.

Makes little difference, England-wise. If Italy beat Costa Rica, they'll play the reserves in the last game, and we'd have to pray their reserves would beat Uruguay, which they wouldn't. Even if we beat Costa Rica ourselves. Which we might not.
Italy and Costa Rica might play out a cautious draw (which knocks England out) knowing that it would leave it in both their hands for their last games, each only requiring another draw to go through with five points each at Uruguay's expense.

As I'm Italian, it makes a huge difference to me. I'd rather go into the final match against Uruguay with 6 points and not have to worry about getting thrown out of the tournament in the 3rd match, but Costa Rica does have a good chance of winning tomorrow. A draw just won't cut it.

They would become the first team ever to qualify with 3 points from a single win. It doesn't matter anyway, you blokes will be winning it in 2022. Aren't you?
