2014 Corvette Stingray

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
Great looking profile but the back is way too gaudy and Camaro-esque as was mentioned. I love the cockpit styling of the drivers compartment. Overall, an awesome car. I mean, it's a fucking Corvette for chrissakes!

Maybe I'm just not enough of a car guy, but I always sort of assumed the reason to buy a car like that was to impress the sort of girl who's impressed by cars like that. And with that said...

... that looks like it'd be uncomfortable as Hell to fuck in. So... yeah. Poor design?

The appeal of the Corvette is simply that, as far as power and handling go, it's about the most affordable out their. They have high, to moderately high priced versions, but for the price, you get a pretty bang for the buck. The new Viper comes in at around 100k, I think, and that's the higher end of a Vette, and unless you wanna drop double or triple that, you're not getting a new Ferrari.

We don't agree on much, but we do on cars.

Here's a song to go with it

i find corvettes too cliche. growing up it was about those, porsches, and lamborghini.

Why on earth would you want a Delorean? Sure they look cool (kinda), but as far as performance I have always heard that they suck.

Ok so its a Delorean. What makes it so desirable. Its not performance. Its not a beautiful car. So what is it? The gull wing doors or because it was in a movie? Not ripping on you, just don't know why someone would want one.

clearly, you didnt grow up watching back to the future.

why do people like different things? why do people actually listen to insane clown posse, watch reality tv, eat puffer fish, or like jersey shore? fuck knows dude.

i was an 80s kid. always wanted one, always will. i also like pogs, marbles, seafood, and punk rock.

No I didn't grow up watching them but I do love those movies. I just never wanted one. Its OK if you do I was just curious.

Well........Actually dude, I don't like Vette's. I drive a 4x4 pick up. I'm not really a fan of cars. Maybe a Ferrari, or a nice Audi, that I couldn't afford unless I hit the lottery....well, you know. I do love the 1968 Dodge Super Bee, in Lime green, with a flat black hood though.

Yeah, but it's unfortunately also the quality you get when buying a vette. You can't expect real quality for that price.

It's not noble. It's just power and performance.

Well, that's why Ferrari's cos $250-$500k...and around a million if you want an Enzo. It's affordable performance, that works on the streets of America. There is NOWHERE around me, other then a couple of race tracks, that you would be able to drive a Ferrari, and get it out of 3rd gear.

Trust me, if I hit the magic 6 digits, I can't think of 1 reason to buy a Vette, and that would be the cheap way out....but I would buy an Enzo in a nano second.
