The appeal of the Corvette is simply that, as far as power and handling go, it's about the most affordable out their. They have high, to moderately high priced versions, but for the price, you get a pretty bang for the buck. The new Viper comes in at around 100k, I think, and that's the higher end of a Vette, and unless you wanna drop double or triple that, you're not getting a new Ferrari.
i find corvettes too cliche. growing up it was about those, porsches, and lamborghini.
i kinda like the latter 2 above all. but id much rather own a delorean. then an 80s porsche, then an 80s lamb, then.. eh..
Why on earth would you want a Delorean? Sure they look cool (kinda), but as far as performance I have always heard that they suck.
like i care. its a delorean. fucking thing could run on cracker barrel and tubas could shoot out the muffler and i could care less.
Ok so its a Delorean. What makes it so desirable. Its not performance. Its not a beautiful car. So what is it? The gull wing doors or because it was in a movie? Not ripping on you, just don't know why someone would want one.
No I didn't grow up watching them but I do love those movies. I just never wanted one. Its OK if you do I was just curious.
We don't agree on much, but we do on cars.

Are you asking me out?
Yes.
Yeah, but it's unfortunately also the quality you get when buying a vette. You can't expect real quality for that price.
It's not noble. It's just power and performance.
I don' t think the pic with the chick is the new Stingray.
