the picture don't mean nothing. Actions speak louder then words. They were stating the world is going to come to an end that year. that This year the world is going to come to and end. you will always find someone talking like they know. But they don't, believe that.

I don't even know voodoo, and I don't know about the World coming to a end. All I know is people talk more then they act out? They don't have anything good to say most of the time. Most importantly, who do they stand up for? They should believe in what they believe. I have all faith in people should be allowed to believe what they do, but there is a certin point where you can say. This is nonsense, and people get killed for that all the time. Why do you think there are sucicide bombers. Of course, because of disbeliefs, and people giving shit. Like it wouldn't happen. Its not about right or wrong, or yes or no. Its about how people treat each other. If you think you got it figured out, think again. If someone turns there back on you, that means the most to you. Or you lose someone you love the most. Them things happen. People need to lighten up, they are already light up, they need to get more loose, All that spinner and contravery is Ignorant and needs to be addressed properly. Thats why you have idiots and people who know what they are talking about. Or actually can talk to people. What do you think it will be? We destory ourselves or someone else will destroy us? Maybe the next world war will be in 2012

Perhaps it's already started
It has begun, slowly but surely, I am already uncomfertable. There is not a need for someone who is comfertable in what they are talking about to say, lets make everything hectic and join forces. Obviously there needs to be some reconigation? Well, because its not simple. People spend their life trying to figure out the simantics, but nobody knows? when will that person finally come along? I don't want to be that person. We need elevation. Its not going to get any better. We need to bring peace.
I finally just finished watching this program... had it on the DVR. Not impressed, it didn't offer up any new info, just a rehash of old info.
Others have said that this is not a religious phenomena - CORRECT!
Also, how do we know that this is all the Mayan calender is supposed to be? Maybe they were gathering info for the Aquarian Calender when they disapeared!

well, the Mayans probably were just over runned and had their information destoryed to make it look like they dissappeared. They must of discovered something that somebody else didn't want anyone to know. Well, the truth is out there. Do you watch the X-files?
there is a movie coming out called 2012, based on that... seems like there have been a lot of "the end of the world" movies to come out recently

The Mayans are assumed of "predicting" the world ending in 2012. This is obviously wrong because the Mayans were not predicting anything.. they were just writing a calendar. They stopped at 2012 on December 21st because it was a good stopping point for them.
If we went back into a time machine and asked the Mayans if the world was ending in 2012 they would slap us across the face and say what the fuck were you thinking?

No one is worried about the fact that the mayan calendar ends on that date, it's the fact that we don't know what's gonna happen when the poles switch. I personally think there will be a few bad storms, but not because of the poles switching, because of all the gravity.
The only way I see mass destruction is if the poles switch in one day. If they do, then I see massive earthquakes, along with massive storms.

It's not only the Mayan calendar that ends that day. Several other cultures point to 1012 as the end of the world. The Babylonians, the Mayans, the Hopi, and a few others that I can't remember all mention something about there being a major, drastic change in the world sometime around 2012.

The calendar in my checkbook ends with the year 2009. That must mean that this year is the end for all of us.
They've been tellin' the same stuff in 2000.... Nothing happened....
