No need to get bitter lol , I realize your dreams came crashing down tonight and yous were put in your place by some 3rd world shithole :nanner:

I enjoyed the USA games , they were a breath of fresh air but being the next Brazil? :1orglaugh

BTW I have been to the USA before and I have relatives and friends that live there :hatsoff:

Brother, the only immediate dreams I have in life are listed in my "location," to the left of this post. I love the US team in hockey and soccer in particular(not so much in baseball or basketball), but I will not assassinate someone if they lose because of their poor performance.

American soccer is only getting better. I don't know what nation you are from, but I can assure you USA soccer will be holding the Cup in my lifetime. .:hatsoff:

The fact that you guys are so threatened by such an inferior team, evident by the posts by many Euros on this board, just shows how scared you are on the matter. I'd be scared too. :)

We dont feel threatened at all lol How do you work that one out?

If anything the USA are going backwards , quarter finals last time , 2nd round this time most of your best players will be over the hill in a couple of years and the players that are coming through arent up to scratch , this is all us europeans that know about football are trying to say , yous have a long way to go before yous can be taken serious contenders for any of the real trophies , not the kid on confed cup , that is just really an excuse to try out the new stadiums and to see if the country hosting the next world cup is up to scratch

But in your eyes we are scared lol I dont think so

Good luck in the future , yous will need it

America winning the World Cup would be as big of a miracle as 1980.

we are getting bigger. I think it's less about how much it means to you and how much less (unfortunately) it means to us. I wish American cared more about the sport, but we just don't. So, again, I say we are a nation that plays the game and there is going to be a breakthough soon.

This year it would have, but a couple World Cup's (or maybe not) from now, we could be rated in the top of the elite. Just sayin'.

True, you could be. But all these third world countries will be getting better too. I'm willing to bet that Mexico will win the World Cup before the States does.

I'd take you up on that bet. The US beat Mexico before they beat us as ultimate champions of the world (if by that time we're not Mexico=lite ).

^I really haven't read anything to suggest that per se, but after reading most of these World Cup threads, I've seen a lot of condescension towards Americans, as if we don't belong in the soccer/football discussion. In a few cases, some took the time to do some USA bashing as well.

mrtrebus suffers from down syndrome, so whatever he says on any matters here we take very, very lightly. For some reason he likes to hand out more negative feedback than anyone in the history of the Internet. Again, we take this lightly. ;)

A team ranked in the top FIFA 15 and that makes the World cup final 16 is not a "shit" team.
...but whatever.

A team that just lost to the mighty, thirty-second best in the world Ghanaian team is kind of a "shit" team. :2 cents:

Er, no I don't suffer from Down Syndrome. & who's this 'we' business? Do you suffer from schizophrenia syndrome?
Making silly offensive comments like my having Down Syndrome certainly don't sound like 'we' take it very, very lightly. Does it. . .
Does.
It.

...based on what? Ghana, besides having the home support, has been playing well thus far. The U.S. lost in extra time by a goal. I'm sure both the US and Ghana's rankings will only go up from here.
Plus, we are talking 32 out of over 220 teams. not 32 out of 35.
