Colorado will get beaten like a drum by the Sooners. Book it

I did not see that ISU upset @ Austin...no way. You're right about that one :o

Maybe the Chancellor of Colorado needs to dial up Kyle Whittenham and extract him from Utah. :yesyes: That will create a tasty hatred between the Buffs/the Utes leading up to Pac12 play...

I remember USC extracted Larry Smith (ex Mizzou coach too) from Zona..I remember Bruce Snyder turned his back on Cal and headed off to the Scum Devils...

Uh-oh! They're almost outta SEC teams to put at #1!!

I am an SEC guy through and through, but I am peeved that Oregon got screwed over in the polls again. I like the Ducks. They stomped a mud hole in UCLA's ass. They have the most prolific offense in the country. They have been sitting pretty at number 2 for weeks now. That, and the fact that I despise Auburn, is why I believe they should be number 1.

Colorado? For real? The Buffs are a joke. The coaching search must begin for them. Buh bye Hawk....:(

Colorado did beat Georgia, but that was at home when Georgia was reeling without AJ Green. They also beat Hawaii, who's arguably the 2nd best team in the WAC after your Broncos. Despite all this, I'm with you, OU will stomp them. Maybe Hawkins will come back and coach Boise when Petersen leaves (though I think the odds on favorite would be their old defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox, who's now at Tennessee)

Isn't that why they play 'em, t-rock? Or maybe they should just chalk it up as a "W" and not worry about it? :dunno:

Does the name "Appalachian State" mean anything to you (sorry 'Mega....best example I could think of on short notice)....on second thought, how about "Iowa State"? (ouch....instant kharma just got me!)

Iowa State is much better than Colorado. I'm not just saying that cuz they beat Texas (remember I said to not count them out against Texas beforehand).

Whittingham leaving Utah for Colorado wouldn't make much sense. It 's a better program, same conference, and plus he has deep ties in the state of Utah. That would be like Chris Petersen leaving Boise State for Fresno State. Unless of course they splash all kinds of cash. Even then I couldn't see him do it, he'd just use at as leverage for a new contract.

lets keep in mind ...cal just beat ucla the week before 35-7..so i wouldnt write home about them yet..i may be wrong..but i think the first time they face a good defense...its going to look a little differnt..i can name you 5 times right noW ...they wont put up no 50 points on...auburn being first on the list..and one more thing...auburn put 65 on arkansas...if oregon played arky tommorow..i know where my bet would go.....one more thing...tenn had oregon on the ropes 3 qtrs...and tenn is the sec punching bag this year

Don't mean to steal your thunder there wolfy but I predicted this on Thursday. Go look it up.

Sorry man but no one here is taking this away from me!!!

not SO fast jag...we share that one bro...a few pages back>>mizz+3 was my lock of the week..which by the way..pushed my locks to 4-0 for the year..not bad for a begginer:glugglug:

smoknn

Oregon would destroy Auburn and Arkansas home or away by 50 points each. I'm quite certain Oregon would not give up 34 points to Kentucky as Auburn did. Auburn practically lost that game too. When has Oregon practically lost a game this season?

Everyone is jizzing over Cam Newton only because he plays in the SEC. People who have functional memories can remember some guy who still plays named Terell Pryor who has done everything that Cam Newton has done. Defenses figured out how to keep Pryor in the pocket and make him pass the ball---which he still can't really do effectively. Badabing, the formula for beating OSU--make Pryor throw. That is the same formula for beating Auburn (make Newton throw).

Mississippi is another SEC punching bag, and I don't realistically see them beating Auburn, though that one might be another 37-34 type win for Auburn. Once Auburn gets passed MIGHTY CHATTANOOGA :)facepalm:) than Georgia awaits. Auburn will not beat Georgia. There's my lock.

Georgia is sneaking off to the SEC Championship :wave2:

I agree on all points. Auburn's defense will do them in one of these games. Remember, they have had a VERY favorable schedule to this point, all decently tough games are at home this year. And honestly, LSU's offense isn't very good, so that win is just ok in my book.

Props to you smoker but I picked them to win outright so it's not exactly the same. Kudos to you nonetheless. :glugglug:

And don't forget to have some of that potted meat with them french fried pataters! umhuh :1orglaugh

the difference in pryor and newton..is newton has 17 starters from last year to help him out and TMO he is better than pryor..and as far as oregon running the score up..we dont play that way in the sec..when we get the game won..we let the guys on the bench play awhile..lot of teams bama played this year they could have beat 100-0..but why??(this dont include florida example: when they was beating kentucky 41 points and tbow got hurt..he should have been on the sidelines watching..hummm..could it be thats why floridas new qb is not done so good..the way i see it..oregon boise and tcu has done everything they been asked..however..some of us feel they havnt been asked enough:wave2:

something else i want everyone to keep in mind...before we hand the sec west.. to bama or auburn...lets keep in mind...over in the east...laying there..looking like they out of the race..sets the best 2 loss team in the country...that already beat bama and had auburn on the ropes..south carolin could play the spoiler this year

You never say never but this year the SEC East is like the Big 12 North has been in years past (not so this season it seems however). They are simply cannon fodder for the SEC West. S. Carolina played great to beat 'Bama earlier this year but that was at home. On a neutral site for all the marbles I can't see them beating either Auburn or Alabama. The SEC West rules this year for sure. Team-for-team it is the strongest division in the NCAA.

Damn. I was outta contact for the last 5 or whatever pages. Some good shit in this post. I have a few things to say:

1. Damn, Jag, you were a predicting machine this week. I'll punk you this coming week, however. Mark. My. Words.
2. Intimating that I won't show up here because Notre Dame loses is just silly. I said, dozens of pages back, that this is a throw away year. As long as there is some building being done, I'm happy. Saturday did not show any building. I don't recall them looking worse ever.

3. The Lurking 10:

1) Oregon (Yeah, they're going to run the table)
2) Auburn (I think they proved themselves this week.)
3) Michigan St. (The darkhorse this year. I think they make the BCS title game.)
4) Boise State (Kinda meh)
5) TCU (Nice defense, not sure about the team overall)
6) Missouri (If they survive the week)
7) Stanford (People will hate on me, but I think they've got the stuff)
8) Oklahoma
9) Alabama
10) Utah

Skyraider22

The One and Only Big Daddy
Notre Dame vs. Navy (Navy in a close one)
Michigan St. at Northwestern (Michigan State)
Syracuse at West Virginia (Something is tellin'me to go with Syracuse)
Iowa St. at Texas (Texas)
Penn St. at Minnesota (Penn.St. gets it together)
Indiana At Illinois (Indiana trust me)
Purdue at Ohio St.(Bounce Back win for OSU)
Ole Miss at Arkansas (Always a great game but I can't go with the heart Arkansas)
Rutgers at Pittsburgh (I get this instead of FSU vs. NC State:dunno: Pitt)
Duke at Virginia Tech (VA Tech)
LSU at Auburn (Big Cam runs all over LSU)
Wisconsin at Iowa (Two of the biggest kids on the block sooner or later they will fight Wisconsin on a rolls it won't stop here)
Georgia Tech at Clemson (Clemson won't stop the Triple Option GT)
Nebraska at Oklahoma St. (OK.State was playing so well Nebraska)
Arizona St. at California :)dunno:) Golden Bears
Washington St. at Stanford (Stanford in a blowout)
Colorado St. at Utah (This one is like taking candy from a baby Utah)
Alabama at Tennessee (Alabama)
Texas A&M at Kansas (Texas A&M)
South Carolina at Vanderbilt (South Carolina don't fuck this up)
North Carolina at Miami (FL) (I got Miami in this one but North Carolina still has a lot of fight in them)
Georgia at Kentucky( If South Carolina takes a loss one of these two with come out of the East for the SEC Champion)
Oklahoma at Missouri (Oklahoma gets it rollin')
Air Force at TCU (TCU)
Washington at Arizona (Washington I'm sure)

Good game this weekend I hate I will be at work.

Hey guys I went 22-3 how about that:hatsoff:

You're on Jagger's level, man. We can only dream.

Yeah really. I think I only picked 15 :o

Jagger and Sky .....

7) Stanford (People will hate on me, but I think they've got the stuff)

No hate from me, brother Dirk. I've also got them ranked 7th

and some frennch fryed pataters..ummhu

:1orglaugh

..and one more thing...auburn put 65 on arkansas...

yeah, but Arkansas put 43 on them.

I'm not drinking either the Auburn or the MSU Kool Aid just yet.

go.....one more thing...tenn had oregon on the ropes 3 qtrs...

no sir. 13 to 13 at the half. 27 - 13 Oregon by late in the third. 48 - 13 at finish.

Not much different than last weeks Bama/Tennessee game, which was 13 - 10 at the half before Bama pulled away in the third to win 41 - 10.

and some frennch fryed pataters..ummhu

That's awesome
My upset specials started off like gangbusters, picking UCLA and Washington straight up against Texas and USC. Since then, well......I'd rather not talk about it :anonymous

Congrats on the draw with me!! Great record, huh? So anyway, how do we set up the conference call to Centauro??

:1orglaugh

Hell of it is....as a Brit who likely never has even visited this thread, he has no idea he owes phone sex to both of us. Oh, what the hell? Let's see if we can we set it up with Mariah Milano instead.....of maybe missmarley if we can talk her into it!! I bet we can get her to wear a cheerleader outfit for us! :nanner:

Whattaya say Raider?? :dunno::confused:

If that isn't possible.....(sigh) gimme a double-cheeseburger and hold the pickles.

Well actions speak louder than words. And don't call me Mark, OK?

Now with AJ Green back, I think Georgia's the best team in the division. Let's not forget they barely lost to South Carolina (in Columbia no less) and Arkansas without Green. I do also think Georgia will beat Auburn. Btw I think Ole Miss has a great shot at beating Auburn. Auburn has proven nothing on the road. In fact, they barely beat people at home. They dominated LSU yet somehow only won a 7 points.

It'll be tough for Georgia to win the division though cuz they need Carolina to lose twice more (they'll lose in Gainesville, then need to lose to either Tennessee and Arkansas). I think it'll happen. Which means the winner of the Georgia-Florida game would win the division.

4) Boise State (Kinda meh)
5) TCU (Nice defense, not sure about the team overall)

Boise State kinda meh?? TCU's defense is nice?? Their defense is probably the best in the country. And their offense is great also. These two teams are the most complete teams in the nation.
Hey guys I went 22-3 how about that:hatsoff:

Wow, not bad for a Seminole. You deserve a free pair of shoes for that.
