Good point there Mega but lets face with lack of a running game Arkansas has to play near perfect football.i will say this if and only if they can pass for 300 yards and rush for 140-150 yards they can win but that 140-150 rushing yards for the Hogs will be a great challange wth a defense that give up next to nothing.

I think Arkansas leads the nation in pass plays over 20 yards..(Or did so last season).

Arkansas knocks off 'Bama and it could be a Heisman run for Mallett.:eek:

Wow, Arkansas vs. South Carolina. If you get that one right, you deserve big props. But you risk looking like a fool if you're completely off base. I will say it's definitely possible. But as a Gator fan, let's hope not.

i agree with sky on the south carolina...i think this is stevie boys year for the east...this is a big game for bama saturday....may become reaLLY big before the year is out

Well as far as winning the East the Gators toughest game will be against Carolina.don't get me wrong I had Florida winning the East in the preseason but they have to get that offense together Mayers had Brantley has a very strong arm but in that offense he can't use it all the time.What I'm trying to say is he does not fit that type of offense I think.But that is another subject for another day.Before I get to far off the subject.CarLina Is clicking and if Arkansas can somehow get pass 'Bama there toughest team will be LSU:facepalm:but we will see at seasons end how right I was or was not:dunno:

While that game is certainly going to be a good one, they said the same thing last year. Bama crushed the Hawgs. Granted, the Bama 09 D was better than this version, but the 10 Bama O is better... look for some points!

It will be a good game on Saturday between Bama and Arkansas as a Gators fan i would love to see Arkansas win this game but in the end it will be a close game and bama will pull it out in the end I think that Mallet is a hiesman trophy candidate win or lose

i dont think bamas defence has had the test yet that it had last year...they havent been behind..or faced a gunslinger like mallet..the question is going to be if they can pressure mallet anyway..this is how i see it...my picks this week...arkansas +7 and ku +14......alabama 28 arkansas 26 ku 31 florida 21...i just crawled out on a high dead limb:tongue:

KU = Kansas
UK = Kentucky

;)

I personally think UF will beatdown UK like we always do. I'm with you on Arkansas/Alabama being close though. I'm having a hard time seeing Arkansas actually pulling it out though.

Wow just looked at Bama's schedule. Arkansas, Florida, and South CaroLina In successive weeks. And October 23rd.........Tennessee gets their ass kicked!!

kentucky is playing good ball..they may not be in the top ten...but florida has not been playing the kind of football we have seen them play..this is the best team they played yet...ok ok uk qb hartline..i think is his name..hes been there 10 years....and i thought uk sounded british:o:wave:

I think Stanford's Andrew Luck will have a say in the Hiesman race. but if Mallet beats Alabama he will be the front runner. Kentucky is playing well but they need to win SEC games to join the top25

if he beats bama...hes got my vote......:dunno:..if bama has sucess running the ball,,its going to be hard for mallet to score on the sideline

You know what you ain't told nothing but the truth.I know this is not Duke's defense but the ball control they have is great.If that ground game gets going it could be a very long day for Arkansas.

Tough to call at this point for who the legit candidates are right now. I suppose by mid season the real candidates will shake out.

However, if Mallet and Ark beat 'bama...Mallett will have fired the first legit shot in the race and it will probably be his to lose at that point. I know it will still be early but the way Ark passes the ball..he will continue to put up the numbers and that means smooth sailing.

Hell, even if Ark loses Mallett will still be solidly in the race baring a collapse against 'bama simply because of their style of play.

Robinson for that state up North has been the most impressive player I have seen this year. Last year whenever he came in, I loved it because you knew he couldn’t throw. This year he can throw.
