How 'bout it for this weeks folks? My win choices in bold.

Michigain (18) vs. Michigan St. (17)
LSU (12) vs. Florida (14)
Florida St. (23) vs. Miami (Fl) (13)

Games of no interest (though an upset would be so welcome):
Stanford (16) vs. unfuckingranked USC
Auburn (8) vs. Kentucky
Oregon (3) vs. Washington St.
Alabama (1) vs. South Carolina (19)
Ohio St. (2) vs. Indiana

I have no interest in games of no interest....unless, of course, you are the one doling out handjobs this week, Dirk! :rubbel: Let me know, bud!

Things are pretty bad when I have more faith in your team than you :anonymous

:D

What's your prediction on the Bears/Gutties score?
It would be a huge win for Nuweasel to beat Cal at Cal, and Cal obviously didn't handle the pistol at all vs Nevada. But I still think Cal wins this one by a TD (or two).

I have no confidence in SC because of all the dumb personnel decisions I see week after week  Gee, Coach Lame finally admitted what ever Trojan with a brain knew this summer--Allen Bradford is our #1RB and starter. We throw the ball to David Ausberry too much and not enough to Ronald Johnson. We could use Stanley Havili even more that we do. If Barkley throws 2 more INTs up at the Farm than we better see Mitch Mustain play or there really is no such thing as "competition for positions". I don't even feel like bellyaching about our miserable defense. Mostly it's because of shitty LBs but also we have some injuries in the DLine that are going to catch up to us now. So, no, I don't see much to look forward to coming out of Troy. Bet the Farm BIG this weekend.

I think Cal will win because they are coming off a bye week and it's a home game. I think they will score early and the gutties will be behind all game long. Both of these teams are incredibly inconsistent. Cal has let me down, but I will say that the bye week was good for them and they will come out looking good. Hell, the loser of this game might be firing a coaching staff at the end of the season....

This is the week.

Bama 17 South Carolina 24 :yesyes:

I hate to say it because I despise both programs but OU has a clear path in the south and Nebraska is head-and-shoulders above anybody in the north. However, Nebraska is unquestionably the more complete team this year and should take the conference title without much trouble in my opinion.

This year's edition of the Big 12 is the weakest I've seen in a long time. Texas, Oklahoma St., Kansas and Texas Tech have all fallen off the chart. :anonymous

I tried explaining this to rwill..before the season but he would have none of it.:dunno:

He nearly contended Nebraska was being run off because they couldn't compete any longer in the Big XII.

Muh picks...

Michigan St. (17) vs. Michigan (18)
LSU (12) vs. Florida (14)
Florida St. (23) vs. Miami (13)
Alabama (1) vs. South Carolina (19)
Arkansas (11) vs. Texas A&M
UCLA vs. Cal Berkeley
USC vs. Stanford (16)
Tennessee vs. Georgia
Arizona State vs. Washington

Upset specials: A&M over Mallet and Arkansas in Dallas, the LA schools over the Bay Area schools, and Steven Threet torches UW's defense

Watch out for the Ragin Cajuns tonight against Okie State.......just sayin'

I expect Florida and Miami to win a bit comfortably

I hope Michigan State proves me wrong for the 2nd consecutive week

You think Bama doesn't hear everyone saying they're ripe for the upset?? I wouldn't be surprised if this one was 17-0 after one quarter.

Stanford will beat USC. Alabama will embarrass SC. Georgia will be pounded by Tennessee. The Seminoles will make it close...

I agree for the same reasons.

Hell, the loser of this game might be firing a coaching staff at the end of the season....

If it's Cal maybe, but I think Rick has quite a bit of leash left in Westwood.

If he has a bad year this year and follows it with another one next year then yeah he'll be on the griddle. But he's already got two wins over ranked opponents this year, so from that perspective this team has already exceeded expectations.

I'm surprised at how many points The Gutties are averaging (26) considering they have no passing game at all, and that to date their use of the pistol has been very rudimentary (i.e. almost all between the tackles, virtually no use of the "F" back) :dunno:

Michigan St. (17) vs. Michigan (18) --I think Maildude State is more balanced and will win a close game (28-24)

LSU (12) vs. Florida (14)--I think LSU is a mess. (38--17 gators)

Florida St. (23) vs. Miami (13)
I like both teams. I think Miami will win a close game. 24-23

Alabama (1) vs. South Carolina (19)
Upset Special. I've had this one circled for weeks. The Cocks will cum through :thefinger 19-16

Arkansas (11) vs. Texas A&M
I see an Arky easy win here 36-20

UCLA vs. Cal Berkeley
Berzerkley for the win...42 - 21

USC vs. Stanford (16) :weeping::facepalm:
I won't call a score here. A win is a win...:anonymous

Tennessee vs. Georgia
Georgia vents some frustration in a blowout 51 - 14

Arizona State vs. Washington
A wild affair here...Scum Devils 37 Udub 35

For Holtz/May haters/lovers....
Pitt vs The Dirkies

The irish squeak out a panic win 24-20

Wow Illinois is up by 7 at the half in Happy Valley and looking damn good doing it. I sure hope JoPa doesn't shit in his pants again!

The Illini planted the Flag of Whoopass at the 50 yard line in Happy Valley today

Damn.....

Is Ron Zook still coaching Illinois?

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
Nobody picked the Purdue vs. Northwestern game?

Aw fuck it, who am I kidding. I have tickets to this game, but I'll be watching the Hawks and Red Wings at the UC tonight instead. Sorry, but a home opener and a banner being raised trump a probable Boilermaker loss. Very few teams are going to win without their starting QB, HB, and 2 WR.

And even though it goes without saying, Go Pitt!

Kinda makes you rethink all the criticism that got leveled at OSU last week when the Illini almost beat 'em in Champaign, huh? :dunno::confused:

What a running game they showed today! Either Illinois is a lot better than anyone thought or PSU is horrible. They got their asses handed to them today.
