AR I don’t if this is you trying to not get your hopes up, but the Boilers have a very legitimate shot at making it to the Final Four. They will beat VCU and they match up very well against Notre Dame.

Can they upset Kansas? Sure, they would have a good chance.

This is the best tournament team they have had in awhile. Enjoy the ride!

Purdue has been flat from the start for their last three games, two of them losses. They're also playing without suspended guard Kelsey Barlow who was the best defender and athlete on the team. John Hart, who is probably the #2 guard on the team when healthy, is out again after injuring his leg for the second time this year. Also, Ryne Smith, who was injured last week by an errant elbow from E'twaun Moore during practice, still has lingering effects from a concussion.

So again, a win today would be very surprising. I'll still be rooting hard for the Boilers, I'm just not blindly optimistic.

And if we make it past VCU, we'd better beat the Irish. I would much rather lose to Kansas by 50 than lose to ND.

On another Indiana not, I hate IU and was wondering if the Hoosiers rank 11th in the Big 10, where do they rank in the State of Indiana?

Answer: IU’s ranking was 10th in the state of Indiana, behind Purdue, Notre Dame, Butler, Indiana St., Evansville, IPFW , Valpo, IUPUI and Ball St.

Gonna be a fun game.

My best bracket shows 27 out of 35 picks right so far. Won't tell you how my worst bracket looks.

:cussing::cussing: Miss a wide open shot to tie. Go for the 3 and the win!!!!!:horse:

Good game Jinx...:glugglug::facepalm:

:glugglug: (Michigan not the Devils right?:o) Oh well. I hoped we could make the Devils truly blue:()

Daaaamn. Anybody see Nolan Smith break that guys ankles??? Filthy.

More ironically is that was Tim Hardaway's son of all people (the guy known for breaking ankles)...who was shaken up on that play.

Why didn't that Michigan player pass off for a game winning 3? There was a guy on the wing and no Dookie within 20 ft of him. It would've been a swish and a win for Big Blue...

Instead, a running clanker off the rim....game over and Dook moves on...Dookie Vitale can breathe a sigh of relief now...

It's Gus Johnson time now! Yeehaw!

Yeah. Mike Kryptonitonium should be applauding....

the michigan wolverine player should have bank the two or hit the three for the win not a floater. but it was a well played game. michigan is a young team and most of these players will be back to the tournament in the upcoming years.

Also, if you're a gambling man, take VCU on the money line today. I'd be more surprised by a Boilermaker win than a loss.

My $50 money line bet on VCU will pay off nicely. What an awful, awful performance tonight. Came out flat in four straight games. Awesome. Great way to end the year. This one will sting for awhile. :(

Previously, Purdue was 34-0 under Painter when scoring 70 points offensively. That really illustrates how well the Boilers play defense. This team takes pride in excelling on the defensive side of the ball. Allowing 90 points is an eye opening disgrace to the program.

I was going to see what you were thinking about that loss. They really kind of imploded right away. They sure didn't look like a #3 team tonight...

Looks like you know your Boilers.

..And..not that you believe in such metaphysical shit as 'bad' luck but it can't be good to put money on the opponent.:o

I think there's only 4 teams that have a legit Chance of winning it all. Kansas, Ohio State, North Carolina, and Duke. The rest are just pretenders.
