I looked at this briefly when the match resumed this morning. I caught the score after lunch and they had progressed into the sixtieth game. And now I get back from the pool and they're still freaking playing. :eek: Whoever wins is going to be justifiably spent for the next round.

56 games all! 9 hours so far and the winner is supposed to play in the next round tomorrow (they started last night)! It took Mahut 100 games to get his first break points which he promptly lost!

Mahut called bad light whilst for some reason Isner wanted to carry on, it finished at 59 all with exactly 10 hours play. Most likely Mahut thought he'd still be fresher than Isner when they resume tomorrow and then he'd also have the rest of the day off to recover for the next round.
